Shoofly Horse Leggins; Prevent Paintful Fly Bites, Reduces Stress & Stomping, Chemical-Free Plastic Mesh Material (Medium/Orange)

This will sound stupid to some and i do know better but im lazy and run short on time so Ive lunged my horse while wearing these, it slowly wore some fur from heel bulbs, no sores but i will remove these in the future if lunging. Otherwise i like these!

I’ve tried cheaper fly boots and they don’t hold up. These are the best ones I’ve had. I haven’t had them long, but they are holding up perfectly. I will update review if that changes.

Our mare was constantly stomping from the flies getting on her legs, so out of desperation we tried these leggings- and they have changed her life! She grazes peacefully with no flies bothering her legs! Our farrier looked them over when we got them, and he put them on our horse. After seeing them on her, he said he was getting them for all of his horses! We highly recommend!!

They work! Keeping flies off legs...no more sores. Very pricy for what they are, and not sure how they will hold up, but, they work.

Shoofly Leggins are easy to put on and stay up all day with no slouching. Definitely worth the money.

It was helpful for me to have someone show me how these should fit before I put them on my horse for the first time. Its good to know where they should be placed on the leg and to make sure they arent too tight. They dont bother my horse at all, and it makes it really easy to see her in the field! She doesnt stomp her feet nearly as much as she used to because of the flies, which is awesome because she has sensitive hooves and I know the stomping isnt great on them.

They do protect the leg from flies but the stiff part breaks down. Make sure you buy the right size. Very few horses need the large size. We bought three sets. The blue ones are on their second year. The pink ones had to be replaced. Regardless I will buy again. Only ones that work keeping flies off the legs.

The flies have been horrible this year and these leggings are a lifesaver
