I say seems to be because my last Seagate drive failed within a year of use, necessitating this purchase. So far, though, its humming along and I have no complaints. Will update if it fails!

This was actually way more easier to install in my ps5 than I thought... tho it took me like 30 min just to sick it in the socket. Not because its difficult but its because I wad too scared to accidentally break it. Younger to put just a tiny bit of force till it clicks in. Then after that your good to go

Die Seagate FireCuda 530 NVMe SSD 1 TB schaut nicht super aus sondern hat auch ordentlich Leistung und ist sehr schnell. Hab sie für meine PS5 als Speichererweiterung gekauft. Der Einbau war, nach dem anschauen eines tutorial Video auf Youtube von Playstation, sehr einfach und ging schnell. Die Karte wurde sofort erkannt, funktionierte einwandfrei und machte bisher auch keine Probleme. Die Ladezeiten sind sehr kurz und bisher merke ich auch keinen Unterschied zur intern verbauten Standard PS5 SSD.

Takes less than 5 min to install, runs faster than your factory hard drive and triples your memory capacity which seeing as most of these updates are getting into the 30-50gb range is very needed… I’m not a very tech oriented guy, I watched a few videos, checked a bunch of comparisons this was typically higher listed than the comparable WD850 black, or Samsung 980 pro. Came with a heatsink ready to go and has worked flawlessly for multi-hour gaming sessions at a time. If you can find it on sale like I did, and the choice is an affordable one over the competition why not get the best available

I originally ordered my 1st 4TB one when it was listed for $999.99. It arrived but it was a 2TB one. I got a refund and while the refund was being processed the price dropped to $899.99 so I figured Id try again. The correct one arrived and it is even faster than the PS5s onboard SSD! Im really enjoying my gaming experience with this SSD installed! Now I just have to wait for my heat sink to arrive.
