> 3 dayPerforming nearly 200% under average user benchmark. Originally 400% above. Worked great for 6 months and then BAM, garbage. The Seagate tool for updating firmware, tuning not working at all. Huge disappointment.

> 3 dayI am not really sure what to do, but mainly posting this in case other users have had the same issue. This was extremely easy to install, and worked immediately. My console storage was full and this was a great solution. HOWEVER - This thing only lasted about 3 months and it no longer is recognized by the PS5. I dont know when exactly, or obviously why this happened. I searched online and was only able to find one thread on reddit about this happening, and there didnt seem to be a consistent fix, but may have started happening due to some Sony updates. I have removed/reinstalled the product twice, and the outcome is still the same. Amazon customer service is usually flawless, however they told me since it was 90 days I cannot have it replaced or refunded. I will call seagate next but need to remove the product again since they need my serial number according to their CSRs. Just wanted to post this for awareness, good luck!

> 3 dayI love this drive its quiet and very fast. I have the one of the original first generation of these drives which were the Barracuda Pro drives and used it for 3 years as a media and gaming drive. Both drives are 8TB and perform amazing. The Firecuda version is slightly faster overall and I wouldnt dream of putting my library on anything else. I am absolutely 100% recommending these drives. I wish they were about 40.00 cheaper, however performance per dollar is still spot on.
