I have been using this for years. I first found it years ago while working in an office supply company. Over the years I have use this tape to repair and things as well as for packing items for shipping. I repaired a game box for my children that had broken corners. It held up for 25 years on that often used box.

This Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape is definitely the strongest packing tape Ive found. It could be a little stickier on cardboard but if you press against it to make sure its firmly on it usually stays put.
