This is one of those things where you get what you pay for! The Scotch may be a little bit more expensive, but its the only one Ive ordered off Amazon that actually sticks! If you want something that works without any extra effort on your part to make it stick, get this!!! If you dont want to have to go back and re-tape heavy boxes a few hours later, buy this! If you dont mind having the packing tape come off the bottom of a heavy box, or having to spend several minutes rubbing (fingernails and finger pressure) the tape onto each box, buy the generics. After trying to go w/several different cheaper brands that SEEMED the same, I gave in and bought this. I wont be buying any other brand from here on out.

Scotch changed their tape, and I haven’t been able to find any that works decently. Sam’s, where I’ve bought what LOOKS like this tape for a long time, now carries something similar that doesn’t hold together to get a package ready to send off. After buying a lot of look-alikes, I finally came on Amazon and started reading reviews until I found ones that referenced decent packing tape. Yep, this is it!

This is probably one of the most heavy-duty packing tape bought so far, does the job and does it well.

Tape was as described. The plastic film around the rolls was not intact when it arrived, so the rolls were kind of all over the box, but the tape itself was fine. Will buy again, thanks.

This is the best tape to use in just about all cases for sealing packages. Its durable and easy to use.

Definitely better quality than most other tapes out there for the price. This will last us a very long time!
