I dont normally write reviews, but this posture corrector is literally amazing. My posture has been suffering as Im getting older (51). I work at a desk all day, and I am starting to get rounded shoulders and the start of a little hunchback. I tried to keep my shoulders open with daily yoga, but I wasnt seeing a change and my upper back was always sore and tight. I started using this posture corrector, and within a week I am seeing a HUGE difference. I started slow, 20 minutes at a time a few times a day. Now I am up to 90 minutes at a time, and I am starting to see results. I can get into yoga poses that I was never able to even after practicing for years. My shoulders, upper back and chest are so much more open. When I first put this on I felt like it was distorting my body, but when I looked in the mirror I was simply standing up straight. Its pretty jarring at first, but now standing up tall feels natural and wearing the brace feels good. Stick with it, and I find wearing it with a fitted long sleeved shirt is most comfortable (it will chafe your armpits in a tank top). If youre on the fence, buy this!

The brace works just as it should very sturdy and very well built. It helps alleviate the pain from sitting at a computer all day. Noticed relief after the first day. Would Highly Recommend !

i love this brace! very easy to adjust and put on, feels very comfortable while on . Process should be slow, so i think brace should be on ones body no longer 1 or 1,5 hour

After finding myself slumping over a computer for hours, my back started feeling the strain. I knew there would be no immediate relief and needed something to help me sit up straight. I searched on Amazon and I’m not really sure what led me to this particular posture corrector. I cannot speak for any other, but for this one, I am beyond happy! I’ve had it for over a month now. I had read to wear it for a little at the time to get used to it, but it felt so good and provided such immediate relief that I found myself wearing it for several hours. When I removed it, I really think my posture was better! I continued to wear it when I noticed myself slumping and after about a week, I felt so much better! So then I didn’t use it for a couple of weeks. What happened? You guessed it. The pain has returned. So on it went again and the result was the same again. Immediate relief! What’s the moral of the story? Get this thing and wear it! Your back will thank you!

I bought a different brand in the similar price range and the Velcro didnt even stick. This Schiara corrected is of much better quality, solid Velcro too. Comes with extensions for larger/taller people. You put it on like you would a backpack. The tabs can be a little hard to reach behind your back on your own, but once you get it on it fits as it should.

Overall, I really like this posture corrector and although I do not use it as a crutch by any means, I do use it to get my muscles used to being pulled back and it does also relieve the tightness in my pectoral muscles. There are definitely more pros than there are cons, but there still are some downsides to this brace. Pros: *Stretchy & soft *Easy to put on *Releases tension *Builds muscle memory *Does as advertised *Washer & dryer friendly *Workout friendly Cons: *Must be worn over sleeves or else armpit chaffing occurs. *I have a fairly small frame (110 lbs, 5”3) and I do have to pull the straps all the way to the tops of my shoulders, which causes them to occasion bunch up). *Causes a sore back but that’s not necessarily it’s fault, but more so my body and muscles adjusting to it. *Since I have to wear it over clothing, it makes my shirt bunch up in weird places I recommend this product to anyone who is trying to improve your posture, but most importantly you need to rely on yourself to put in most of the work! Strengthen the upper back (traps, shoulders, lats, etc.), core and glutes.

Ive had a nagging dull soreness near my right scapula/upper back for a while -- I suspected it could be due to poor posture. I work from home at a computer so Ive been wearing the Schiara posture corrector off and on for about a month now while I work. I really do see a difference from when I wear it and when I dont. Additionally Ive been surprised to feel like I am more cognizant of my posture even when Im not wearing it. Its comfortable and really good quality. I would recommend to anyone experiencing a similar issue.
