I use this as extended storage for my PS4 Pro. I have smaller drives by Samsung that are actually holding data and they perform very well. I havent managed to use this one yet, I just got it, but soon it will fill with data and I will update on performance.

every time i restart my pc all my steam games on this get uninstalled and i cant even play them i have to redownload every game why is this happening

Its super fast (I transferred 325GB in about an hour!), it works great with my Mac OS (no reformatting or any other setup required), its very small (much smaller than I expected, given the size of similar drives on the market), it comes with connections for both MAC and PC computers and they both fit nice and snug--it can hang by them if needed without disconnecting, which is great because otherwise Id be dropping it every time I move my laptop around because its completely silent so I forget its even there, and it works great on both MAC and PC interchangeably (I copied things from a MAC and I can use them on a PC or transfer things from a PC and use them on the MAC, its super versatile like any other flash drive). I highly reccommend and I would buy again if I need to.

Even though I knew the size and read the comments, its still such a surprise when you see how small this SSD really is. Amazing transfer speeds and it looks great too. The Samsung encryption software was problematic on Mac OS High Sierra (10.13.6) and clunky looking – so shortly installation I formatted the drive and opted not to use it.

It works, I have while external video projects on it, I Velcro’d It onto the back on my MacBook, and it just works. Love it. Now I’d just like for the price to go down to buy a bunch of these

Samsung magician version 6.3.0 does not support this device. I assume this is FAKE. Make sure to run Samsung Magician software on this device right away and if it does not support return the product.
