This is plugged in to my pc to take all my pics and down loads which I can then take with me on my travels. No complaints

This device is compact, sleek, very easy to setup and would be 5 stars however. 2 things drag it down. #1 It stops being detected randomly every few times I restart or boot up my computer. Not consistently though.I have even wiped the ssd to try and clear it. Which leads me to #2. Samsungs own software cant wipe this drive you need 3rd party software for some unknown reason. Its kind of hilarious since this is their flagship super travel drive that their custom drive wiping software doesnt work on it. Otherwise, if you dont have the disconnect issue this travel drive cannot be beaten for price to performace and quality.

If you purchase this for PS5 it doesnt work how you think. You still have to copy the game to your console in order to play. So it works the same as a regular hdd. Ps4 is better where you could launch game from hard drive. Very disappointed. Wait for official PS5 SSD to release. Wasted $270.

I have a couple of these that I use as edit drives in Final Cut Pro. I shoot in 4K and edit to 1080p. These drives perform as well as any other SSD drive I use.

About 6 months back I purchased this for my dad so that he could store his created YouTube videos. He says it works great for that purpose. I have another need and want to be 100% sure and confident it will be able to do the job before I purchase it for myself.

Getting incredible data transfer rates, drive came with usb 3.0 to usb c as well as a usb c to usb c and Im getting 500mb/sec transfer rates using usb c. Super happy with it!

I purchased one of these new and since the price went up, I purchased one used and am now returning. The used one does not come with the system software that allows you to update the device and password protect. When you plug it in, it just opens a folder. Not the same as buying new and not worth the risk in my opinion!

I purchased this for music storage. All I had to do was format it for use with my Mac and start using it.
