> 3 dayThis SSD is really all you need for gaming, and it is lightning fast as a boot drive (even if its only PCIe 3.0). I was able to get 3.5 GBps read and 2.8 GBps write. My only complaint is that after transferring about 60-80 GB of data with over 600 GB still free on the drive, the write speeds slow down to around hard drive speeds (200 MBps), which is a bit disappointing. For most people, this shouldnt be an issue.

Greater than one weekIve been a fan of Samsung storage for a while, so I was pretty excited about a new reasonably priced option. The primary concern for value priced storage is quality control, since a lot of manufacturers sell chips with minor defects at a lower price point. Samsung has a good track record and its very encouraging that the SSD 980 comes with a 5 year warranty.
