The 1TB or higher is one of the most suitable SSD for PCIe 3.0 systems. On CrystalDiskMark 8.0.4, Sequential READ reached 3555 and Sequential WRITE peaked at 2848. I upgraded an older notebook/laptop thats compatible with PCIe 3.0 and the boot-up and system responsiveness are noticeably much faster from the original NVME M.2 SSD. The future for desktop and laptop should be PCIe 4.0 and 5.0 SSD. We can forget about SATA.

I love this drive, and try to install it everywhere clients will let me. The biggest challenge has been that Windows installer will sometimes need additional storage drivers to see the NVMe drive when installing Windows, but either the vendor or the motherboard manufacturer will typically have that. Great drive, certainly cheaper options out there.

The best nvme gen3. It is fast and works like a charm. My PC starts like in 10 secs and its ready to use.

I have used Samsung drives in the past. Simply place the drive into an external enclosure and run the Samsung Data Migration software and your boot drive is cloned to your new Samsung drive. Easy peasy. This drive ,the Samsung Data Migration and it seems any external nvme enclosere are not compatible. Windows sees the drive just fine but the data migration software does not. After searching for a compatible enclosure with no luck, I ended up getting Macrium Reflect software (free version) and it works great! I hope this saves you some time.

I got this for a great price, always best to wait for a good sale if you want to go big name instead of crucial or something similar
