> 3 dayIve always had good results with Samsung SSDs, so when it came time to build a new AM5 system, they were the obvious choice. I did my homework first though. My system is fairly high end with a 7900X processor, a ROG Crosshair Hero motherboard, 64GB of G.Skill ram. Wanted to go with the 990 Pro series NVMe, but building a custom water cooled loop and all the other hardware had already cost a lot, so decided to go with the 980 pro instead, as the new Gen5 stuff is said to be coming out real soon now.

Greater than one weekThe impossibly tiny screw needed to mount this does not come with the product. Unless you have extra on hand tough luck.

Greater than one weekLuckily mine came with the latest firmware, so I didnt have to update it. I slapped it in my PS5, checked the speed, and got on with gaming. Even if you do have to update, the process isnt that hard. There are plenty of YouTube videos that will tell you what to do. But it seems like they are all shipping with the latest firmware now, so thats good. Buy one, or five!

> 3 dayThis part was used for a radio switchout on my 2018 Toyota Rav4. I was told it fit correctly with no problems.

Greater than one weekMy PC has an old Asus AMD M5A99FX MB (but no onboard M.2 slots). So I bought a “AMPCOM M.2 NVME SSD to PCIe 4.0 Adapter Card” to allow me to put this NVMe in an available PCIe 2.0 x4 slot on the MB. Worked well as any disk should, in Win 11, but was not bootable (not the problem of the SSD or the adapter card) this was an issue with the old BIOS, which did not support booting a NVMe type of drive. The fix is getting an upgraded BIOS (not available on the MB manufacture BIOS updates site). Solution - I bought a “ BIOS patched for NVMe booting” and problem is solved. Even on my PCIe 2.0 backplane I got a significant bump in performance, see attached pictures, with all related info.

Greater than one weekBought this for a new gaming PC. It was super easy to install. The throughput is great as the machine boots up super fast. Although the machine has only been running for about 2 to 3 weeks. Regardless, Im sure that it will continue to perform flawlessly until it reaches its limits of total reads & writes. Which is something thats unique to each individual based on how they use their PC.

Greater than one weekI had a learning curve cloning my internal SSD boot drive onto this one but it ultimately worked great.
