Greater than one weekI needed a larger ssd on my computer. Was using a 500 gig Samsung. Bought this and a small usb enclosure for it. Mounted it up, used Samsung’s free clone software to clone computer drive to this baby, then switched the ssd out. 30 minutes and done with not a single issue. Kept the old drive as an emergency recovery drive, but you could also mount it in the usb enclosure and use it as a fast external ssd drive. New drive is just as fast as the older one...blazing! But holds a ton more stuff.

> 3 dayCant fault it for that imo. Its expensive. But you wont be disappointed. Works great, easy to install worked first time. Great as a boot drive, page file (Vram), or just a catch all for demanding programs .exes.

> 3 dayOn a gaming Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 (ver 1903) I was able to use AOMEI backupper pro to clone (allows you to resize the partitions during clone) my current SSD M.2 NVMe while system was running to this Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB M.2 NVMe. BIOS was already setup for UEFI (and also the source SSD was GPT as wanted destination GPT too). I inserted the Samsung SSD M.2 drive into a DMLIANKE M.2 NVMe enclosure so I could plug into my USB 3.1. The drive needed to be initialized via Disk Management under Windows so it could be seen. Since it (the Samsung SSD) is presented to Windows as a USB device (cause it is plugged into the DMLIANKE enclosure), I could not install the Samsung Drivers (claimed better performance than the stock NVMe drivers) or install Samsung Magician BEFORE the clone and swap. After the clone, I swapped the original SSD with the Samsung SSD. Windows took a minute to boot and all was running fine. I then installed the Samsung drivers and Magician software.
