When transferring 800+ gigs of media from a primary Crucial P5 Plus (Gen 4) drive to the 970 EVO Plus... Achieved 3.6-3.7 gig sustained rate... Discovered that - unless you are allot of heavy media lifting - 970 is all you will ever need... This drive is a Gen 3 animal! So impressed!

I decided to try it with the respective adapter (CY M.2 NGFF M-Key NVME SSD Convertor Card) and it works perfect!! It is like a new computer super fast and pretty easy install. The best money spend on my Mini

I wanted an nvme ssd a while back when my brother was getting an SSD. I found this one, which was appealing to me because of its storage space. I ordered it, installed it, my brother helped me format it and get everything set up, and its worked like a champ since then. My boot time went from around 5-10 minutes to 20-40 seconds. When my D drive went out I got a second one of these to replace it, and it feel so good to be working with these rather than hard drives.

This thing is pretty fast I was surprised at how quickly it loads in games and media. Definitely worth every penny. Im never going back to HDD.
