Im not a computer component expert by any means, but I ordered this as a second drive for my laptop (for games only), which came with an empty NVME slot. The 500GB model seemed like the best bang for the buck versus the 1TB version. I trust Samsungs SSDs and even though many reviews say you wont have support when in Canada, I dont see myself having to use the service.

DO NOT BUY USED!! I’ve bought 2 of these used and neither works!! At this point I’m not even going to try again, I’m going to go to Best Buy and buy new. Def since shipping is taking forever rn. Do not buy used... tons of problems. They are selling crap that don’t work.

This was my first M2 purchase and pc budget gaming build, but very happy overall. Read/write is ridiculously faster than traditional HDD via SATA connection and thr system boots up almost instantly. Easy install

If you are looking for a gen 3 solid stable NVMe, I cant really suggest anything else, this is better than Samsung 980 too, 980 is dramless and slower, and this is cheaper, faster, and better, I bought like 3 what else can I say?

For gaming storage, might take me a while to fill up. 5 stars

Best nvme ssd on the market.

This SSD is the best for gaming, especially if you are a heavy gamer and install a lot of game in your PC.

I bought this 970 Plus used from an Amazon seller. It had 1.5tB written to it, which is not much. Cloned my computer to it and installed it in my laptop. Worked like a champ. Price was good. I havent noticed that its any faster than the PCIe I had before but I dont use it for heavy workloads.

My HP Spectre x360 cane with 256Gb ssd which for full after a while. Ive got this 1tb ssd upgrade for a reasonable price. I did install myself, really easy to do it. Just make sure of making a Windows installation usb before proceeding.
