Upgraded my older PC and laptop. PC was fairly simple, laptop took a little patience but both are up and running and basically brand new when it comes to speed. Boot up in no time after a clean install of Windows and browsing the web with no lag time. As long as your laptop or PC arent too old, these are a great upgrade without breaking the bank.

This is a very good product, the Samsung app lets you benchmark the drives speed and the overall system responsiveness improves greatly with it.

Samsung Migration software worked perfectly! Went from Samsung 1 terabyte to 2 terabyte and all works well!

The first drive I received failed but the replacement is working well. I planned on transferring everything from my old sata drive using macrium reflect so I made an image for safe keeping. But for cloning everything to this new ssd I used the free Samsung tools and everything worked perfectly

I thought my last SSD was fast but this one is even faster and it has twice the endurances (1200 vs 600TBW) then my previous SSD that I purchase a year earlier for slightly more cost. Running Linux Mint gnome-disks-utility on a Dell E6530, I am getting 550MB/s read speeds and 500MB/S write speeds.

What more can I say? These drives are the best price these days! Like I said in the headlines. I now own at least six of these drives. They all provide great performance, and not one has failed. I have other SSD drives from Crucial and Kinston that have, in fact, failed. Not one of my Samsung drives has failed. Knock on wood!!!

I had to RMA this drive after a year as sectors started going bad. Ive used other Samsung SSDs, including others of this model, and this is the first time Ive had one fail within warranty.

Best bang for the buck boot drive.
