I love how much sodium is contained in each capsule (so I dont have to take as many as I do with other products). I love that these are in capsule form so they are easy to swallow and I dont have to taste the salt as Im swallowing. My doctor advised me to drink salt water, but I cant keep that down, so these are an excellent alternative and my leg cramps and other salt-deficient symptoms have gone away, so these are very effective too. Im very pleased.

This does not contain any sugars, which is great for me, however it does contain Magnesium, which doesnt do much for the body if taken with calcium, which Saltstick also contains. These two should always be taken separately, and the Mags should be taken at night as it is a muscle relaxer. Since the calcium is absorbed first, the magnesium tends to go right through the gut and can cause diarrhea. I prefer a brand that is sugar free, sweetener free, and Magnesium free.

At first I thought this was a gimmick. The first time I tried these, I took them every hour (I live and run in a very humid and hot area, so i sweat a lot). I didnt seem to notice anything and was covered in salt when I finished my run. The next run I changed my strategy to wait for the tingles of a cramp, and then take one. This worked so much better for me. About 8 miles in, my quads started to tingle, popped a tab. within a few minutes. it went away. Same run. miles later, another muscle flat out cramped. popped a tab, within minutes that went away. It worked for me and now Im sold.
