Sturdy, grips the laptop well, doesnt take up much space, and has a generous catch lip in the front. Ive had cheap plastic laptop stands with microscopic catch lips that laptops slide off easily, but this stand keeps the laptop squarely in place.

If you want this stand to act as a heatsink, you need to scrape off the rubber pads that are glued to it where you laptop sits. Otherwise there is an airgap and no direction contact aluminum to aluminum contact. The stand is high quality, all one piece, and consistently built.

One of those things you didnt know you needed, but when you got it you wondered why you didnt find it months ago. Sturdy, strong, holds my 17 inch laptop, raises it to a level easier to read on the desk, and helps to keep the computer cooler than sitting flat on the desk. My wireless keyboard easily stores under the stand. (I am not sure I would feel comfortable typing on the laptop keyboard, even tho the stand seems sturdy.)

Love this stand. So many things are plastic these days. Its nice to use use this all aluminum stand everyday :) I am definitely not worried about stability for my laptop.

The mStand is hands down the best laptop stand made for Apple laptops! The brushed aluminum finish matches the finish on the old Macbook Pro very well and you wont even notice. After using this stand, my posture at my desk improved because the screen is raised about 6 inches, allowing the screen to be closer to eye level.

This is the best stand for a macbook pro. it gives your Macbook Pro the right height and angle to watch movies in bed.
