They will stay shiny if you keep them out of the dishwasher. Buy the makers sharpener too. They cut great. I use the paring size all the time. Ive given them as gifts too. Super affordable.

Because I dont do a lot of cooking, I chose this product because of its great reviews and stellar price--mostly the price. So far Im extremely happy and would say they have exceeded my expectations. What Im not crazy about: the handles--they seem fairly coarse and give off a slight chalkboard texture. Not a huge fan of this, but honestly I dont use them often enough for the handle texture to really matter.

There is nothing I disliked. I love they are thinner and smaller. I can really get a good cut on my veggies lol. Highly recommend

Very sharp

I love Rada knives. The stainless steel aluminum combination is beautiful and durable. Ive had my knives for two years and they look brand new. It is also so nice to see a product made in the USA and still be affordable!! You will not find nicer knives for the money than Rada produces. The stainless steel also hold an edge well while not being high maintenance like carbon steel tends to be. I have some carbon steel knives and have to be extremely careful to dry them right away or else they will get some surface rust. This is a great starter set. It has pretty much everything you need in the kitchen. If I had to recommend one other knife it would be the cooks knife.

Sold by Heisy Sales and ships from Amazon Fulfillment. Nice gift box thrown into a much larger shipping box where the larger knife was damaged by having its point bent, and the gift box was damaged. What I wanted, was the middle sized knife, which survived shipping. I have used these wonderful kitchen knives for decades, and before that my mother-in law used them. I rate the knives 5 stars! Shipping was terrible, but since I didnt care about the larger knife, I didnt want to go through the hassle of a refund.
