> 3 dayIm a 52, ~240 lbs female with thicker calves and thighs. Ordered these because I want to start rollerblading again and help get to a healthier weight. They fit fairly snug (but not too tight) and give me a boost in confidence knowing that Im going to be ok if I fall down. Yes, they are a little more on the pricey side, but it was a great investment!

> 3 dayIts hard to find skate equipment thats large enough for grown men that still skate. Just not much of a market out there. Im 6-3 / 210 lbs, and the XLs are comfortable and provide plenty of coverage. They appear to be well made, and Pro Tec has been around a long time. Im sure there are better pads out there, but for the quality, fit, and comfort, especially at this price point, they get 5 stars from me.

Greater than one weekI used the size chart and will agree with what others have commented: order one size up. Im 5-9 150lb and I ordered medium and the straps barely closed. So Im returning for a large.

> 3 dayI purchased the knee pads less than two weeks ago. I have used them twice and fell one time while using them. They held up nicely! My complaint about these knee pads is that the strap just mysteriously fell off. So I can no longer use the knee pad as intended. I emailed the company through amazons contact info and received an email back saying they don’t warranty the product and that boarding is a rough sport so basically deal with the issue yourself. In my opinion owning these for such a little time and using them twice should be covered by the company I bought them from. Now they’re telling me to contact the manufacture. Wouldn’t recommend buying these to anyone that may have a problem with the product falling apart at some point due to situations out of your control.

> 3 dayI’m a rookie and I don’t know much, but they seem pretty great. Didn’t wanna risk my expensive knees and elbows to some cheap no-brand pads. By once, cry once. Always buy quality.

> 3 dayFinally found safety gear that comfortably fits a 511, 245 lb person without cutting off blood circulation! Im 53 and 150 lb and it fit me fine without being bulky/hindering movement. We tried so many stores to find an actual adult-sized elbow and knee pads but found theyre all usually sized for small persons or teens. We ended up throwing out our old ones because of the substantive padding on this set.

> 3 dayIve only been using the pads for 2 months and one of the straps is about to come off. Worked great for the one minor impact theyve had, but I have to replace them because of the poor construction of the fabric components.

Greater than one weekIm overweight and got size XL. I couldnt secure the bottom part of the knee pads because of my size. So I tucked it in above the knee. These were really comfortable. I expect to lose more weight and will be able to secure the bottom soon. I havent fallen yet so I dont know if they will survive a fall. The elbow pads fit well also.
