> 3 dayFinally found safety gear that comfortably fits a 511, 245 lb person without cutting off blood circulation! Im 53 and 150 lb and it fit me fine without being bulky/hindering movement. We tried so many stores to find an actual adult-sized elbow and knee pads but found theyre all usually sized for small persons or teens. We ended up throwing out our old ones because of the substantive padding on this set.

> 3 dayThe pads fit great, and I barely notice that they are on. Thats because of how comfortable and non restrictive they are made. They offer excellent protection. Im able to get right back up after a fall without any harm. I have fallen more than 20 times in the last 2 months with these pads. I downhill longboard. The only reason for 3 stars is that the right knee pad ripped and now the foam is sticking out. The amount of protection and comfort really deserve 4 or 5 stars, but Im bummed out about the tear. Ill either try to sew it or buy another because I wouldnt dare try longboarding and sliding down hills without protection. Abrasions, lacerations, and fractures hurt. With these pads, Im confident Ill be okay and not have to regret not having pads on.

> 3 dayIve only been using the pads for 2 months and one of the straps is about to come off. Worked great for the one minor impact theyve had, but I have to replace them because of the poor construction of the fabric components.

Greater than one weekIts hard to find skate equipment thats large enough for grown men that still skate. Just not much of a market out there. Im 6-3 / 210 lbs, and the XLs are comfortable and provide plenty of coverage. They appear to be well made, and Pro Tec has been around a long time. Im sure there are better pads out there, but for the quality, fit, and comfort, especially at this price point, they get 5 stars from me.

> 3 dayI purchased the knee pads less than two weeks ago. I have used them twice and fell one time while using them. They held up nicely! My complaint about these knee pads is that the strap just mysteriously fell off. So I can no longer use the knee pad as intended. I emailed the company through amazons contact info and received an email back saying they don’t warranty the product and that boarding is a rough sport so basically deal with the issue yourself. In my opinion owning these for such a little time and using them twice should be covered by the company I bought them from. Now they’re telling me to contact the manufacture. Wouldn’t recommend buying these to anyone that may have a problem with the product falling apart at some point due to situations out of your control.

> 3 dayPurchased for my 10 year old nephew. Way to huge. Definite adult sizes. The sizing is confusing because the youth size is labeled YS which I assumed was Youth Small, so the M to me meant Youth Medium. But after much research I realized the YS stands for Youth Size.... and all other sizes are for adults. Otherwise the product is good. Just broke my heart when my nephews birthday present didnt fit. I paid to have it shipped back and within the return window I was refunded the price of the product. Once I purchased the (ONE SIZE FITS ALL) for youth... He loved them and wears them when he skateboards and scooters around.

> 3 dayBEEFY protection for my bees knees. Increases perceptions of invincibility. Protected my knees from a real fall like a CHAMP. I like em tight so they cut in to the back of my knee when I bend my legs, but hey, better than slipping off during a skid...
