We have a 45lb rescue that isn’t used to being on a leash. The swivel clip works well and the clip seems very secure. This is a very sturdy leash and I love the double handle for the times that I need to keep the dog next to me. The handles are also nicely padded and comfortable to hold. The reflective stitching is also a nice feature.

I love this leash! I have a strong 60 lb pit bull that wants to go and she pulls strong. This leash is comfortable on my hand when my dog is trying to yank me around. And the extra loop is a must have when I need to pull her in close to me and have extra control. Highly recommend.

We just got the leash a few days ago, but so far we are loving this dog leash. The leash is very durable and cannot be chewed through by our 7 month old puppy, which was a problem with the leash we were using before. The more proximal opening for your hand is crucial for when you need to be closer to your dog. One of the downsides of having a thicker leash is that it is less flexible so it is very difficult to wrap the leash around your hand to make it smaller, meaning that the second hand area is very important. I would recommend this product to others.

Bought this for a 65lb Springer Spaniel, hes older so he doesnt pull as hard as he used to but he still has some power. The clasp is good but its definitely not one of the extremely tough ones, like what I would buy in his prime. If you have an extra large dog or a real puller I would recommend a different leash. Weve had the leash for about a month and its held up great so far. Its comfortable and the second handle is perfect for small spaces and controlling him went he dose try to pull.

I looked at a lot of leashes before I bought this one. The leash was initially stiff and difficult to hold but over time it has become more flexible and is now our favorite leash. My 7 month old 60 pound dog has some freedom for exploration with the 6 foot length but I can quickly pull him in and easily control him with the 2nd handle. We are still working on walking on a leash without pulling but this leash is sturdy against his sudden tugs and holding up well. I would definitely buy it again!

The second handle is great- BUT this is the second police Ive bought in a couple of years and with both, the thumb latch on the clip broke within a couple of weeks. Ive been buying dog leashes for 50 years and this is the only brand that has ever happened with. Now twice. And because I bought it to Amazon, it only has a 30 day return. Many leashes have either a lifetime warranty or at least a few years.

I work at an animal shelter where dogs literally chew on the leash and its still perfect. Its super strong and I love traffic handle for when I need to keep them right at my side.

A very nice dog leash. Handles my 79 lb dog nicely. I love the option of the handle closer to the dog for better control/handling. Also like the hook on the handle for doggie doo bags. Not the strongest leash on the market, but still very nice - in fact I just came back to order a second one for our other dog.

I dont write many reviews, but this is such a great product that I just had to. I would buy this again. I would buy it for a friend. I have a 70+lb black lab that I rescued at 4 1/2 years old. He loves to chase--or try to at least--the bunnies that live around our neighborhood. This leash allows me to teach him to be near me and to control him if he attempts to lunge after them. Thankful I found this great product.
