I went to 5 different pet stores looking for a leash that had a long leash with a good handle but also had a control handle down closer to the latch so I dont have to wrap the leash around my hand and then have the dog pull and hurt my hand. > 3 dayWe have three large, strong dogs that require training and careful handling. This leash is a great tool to accomplish both. The extra loop allows for a quick shortening of the leash for maximum control as needed without having to wrap a leash around your hand. The handles/loops are comfortable to hold. This is the only type of leash I will use and I was extremely happy to find them for such a great price on Amazon (these leashes are nearly $30 at the pet store). We have one for each dog in different colors. Love this product!

> 3 dayThe leash is long enough that I dont trip over my Greyhound during our walks. There are a couple of areas on the sidewalks were we are right next to the traffic traveling fast. The short handle gives me the security to know my dog will not be able to bolt into the street if startled. the clasp appears to be very sturdy. Would purchase again.

> 3 dayThe only thing I liked about these leashes was the second handle. I bought two, one orange and one purple. The purple is definitely pink (not a fan) but I kept it anyway. They are sturdy but a little stiff. I used them for about 5 days, on day 4 the orange one came unhooked from my dogs collar as we were walking. On day 5 I used our old orange leash for him but used the primal pet purple one for my other dog, and the same thing happened. I noticed it happened when the dogs shook their heads and the clip possibly got snagged on their collars but regardless it’s a safety concern and I will be returning them.
