I have had a lifetime of sinus issues. I also have clinically dry eye and dry skin. Add to that, I live in the Arizona desert, so dry air is a year-round thing. I have owned many humidifiers through the years, and they all had issues that made them undesirable. I have now found the PERFECT HUMIDIFIER, and I am so happy. I can breathe comfortably without using saline nasal gel. Plus, the features of this humidifier are outstanding: 1) It is TOP-FILLING. This is a huge benefit because of convenience! I leave it in place and simply fill it with a pitcher of water when it gets low. No more carrying a heavy jug and then turning it upside down to position it just right on its stand as I had to do with others. 2) It is SUPER QUIET! I am a light sleeper. This humidifier is so quiet, I cannot hear it at all. Seriously, I have never had one as quiet as this. 3) It is EASY TO CLEAN. No small crevices to swab around. 4) It takes TAP water, which saves money. 5) The LIGHTS are wonderful - dim enough for a light sleeper like me. 6) It has an easy-to-view WATER LEVEL MONITOR. 7) It has an AUTOMATIC SETTING, which adjusts to KEEP THE HUMIDITY WITHIN A DESIRABLE RANGE. No more waking up with damp hair or dry mouth (as with other humidifiers) because the humidity was either too high or too low. 8) It NEVER LEAKS! Again, not my experience with others. 9) It is BEAUTIFUL. I have it sitting on a chair-side table in my bedroom, and it looks lovely. To me, this is very important because my bedroom looks like a spa sanctuary instead of a sick room with vaporizer-like equipment. 10) It has an AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF when the water gets low. 11) You can use ESSENTIAL OILS with it. Although I havent done this yet, Im looking forward to it. 12) The PRICE and TWO-YEAR WARRANTY are better than the competition! So, thats it. Its been a long time since I was this enthusiastic about any product!

UPDATE: 4/5/2021 ok...so...I originally had this at 5 stars...going to downgrade this a bit after all the time using this. Now, I was new to the whole humidifier thing...so wasnt really paying attention to the clean weekly aspect. After the first month, I decided to do a cleaning. What I can only imagine is that I must have destroyed an emerging civilization cause I could have sworn I saw tiny aircraft flying out from the spout as I took it off and inspect it...I do feel bad! But OMG...there was stuff everywhere in there...some pink mold, slime, skyscrapers with tiny living things...just so gross! But this was on me...I didnt follow the directions...well...the directions that say to clean weekly. This next part, I put on the company as its not design well for a thorough cleaning. Yes, you can clean the underside of the bin and the base with not too much effort...EVERY WEEK... please do that...otherwise you leave it longer and you could be killing an emerging intelligence. its almost impossible to clean the long shaft where the mist comes out of. I was able to get a bottle cleaner that could get in there...have to do a lot of twisting or turning and I used scorching hot water to try to get it all clean...but its not very easy to get to all the nooks and crannies of this device where if you leave even a little bit of mold/slime...it comes back pretty quickly. the company also doesnt really provide a good cleaning regimate in the manual...which would be helpful. what would also be helpful is if all the parts could be easy to remove and replace for cleaning...but...they are not that easy to remove...in fact Im afraid to try on some of the because I dont want to break anything. I would also recommend that they make the slot bigger at the top for the water filling...maybe more of a keyhole...so more water can go in quicker...current design makes it easy for water to run off the side if you try to fill to quickly.. And as I mentioned in my original review...the essential oil pad is basically useless...nice touch...but i just use an essential oil specific mister to get the scents I want in the room. The unit is still running...very quiet...adds the needed moisture to the room...so that part is working...which is why Im still giving it 3 stars. Would I recommend it...Now that I know more about how these work and the maintenance...I may look for something different down the road Original review: This product seems to be working great so far. We live in a desert climate so it is very dry and humidity is very low. have been using it since we got it a week ago and its been very helpful in putting needed moisture into the air in the bedroom. it is primarily a humidifier...with the slight added bonus of being able to add essential oils. BUT, it doesnt diffuse the oil aroma as well as the smaller ones that specialize in doing that, so dont go by that added feature if that is the importance of your purchase. it does provide some scent, but nothing like the smaller devices where you put the oil directly into the water. its all a matter of whats most important to you. its easy to use, i will update my review later with my cleaning experience. I purchase the black one and only now have some concerns on being able to visually see if any mold or mildew will show...so i will just have to create a cleaning routine that cleans all parts just to be sure. so far, very pleased with this device...lets see how it holds up

My experience with humidifiers are not the greatest. My least favorite thing to do is remembering to turn them off or the constant refilling. But this one comes with a smart setting which allows it to distribute mist when needed. The first two nights, it emptied by the next morning. But on the 3rd day, thinking I needed to refill, found it was still more than 1/2 filled. Once my humidity level was brought back up, it didnt need to turn on as much. Plus, it turns itself off when no more water is present. All in all, very very satisfied. For context, I live in Colorado where the environment is more dry and arid like a desert. Makes a huge difference when sleeping. I wake up comfortably now.

It worked great for about 3 months off and on. Now it wont work at all. The light will turn on and thats about it. Its basically a nightlight now and we sleep in the dark. Basically useless. Im really disappointed.

I have three of these units. Unfortunately, two of them stopped working but customer service is great and they were able to replace them outside the return window. The new ones are working well and will hopefully last longer! If not for that, these are handy. I’ve travelled with them too which helps since hotels are so dry.

I purchased this to help my plants in our very dry and warm second bedroom. Ive owned and operated this for a few days now, so youre getting my initial thoughts. Im undecided but have a feeling I will end up keeping it. Hence why I took away a star. 3 stars felt too harsh considering what I ended up with. First, beware! I was extremely disappointed to realize after receiving the humidifier that most of the reviews are for a DIFFERENT humidifier. Check peoples photos! And not all reviews make sense for what is advertised. I guess I missed that. Some Amazon sellers do this thing where they update their listing to be a different product so the reviews stay and it sells better due to higher product ratings, even though its a completely different product. Some more thoughts: - Smaller than I expected, but I guess I got what I paid for. - It works well, is completely silent, but because its so small, the water in the tank only lasts overnight. The constant refill factor might get annoying. - I was also a little annoyed that it has a usb plug with no adapter to plug it into the wall - that you have to supply yourself. I must have missed that in the product description. Had to rearrange the plugs in this area of my home to accommodate for this. - Im happy with the flow of mist, and the different settings, though the instructions werent clear (someone answered a question about this that is super accurate! Check the question section). - Im wondering if I shouldnt have it so close to my plants? My dracaena leaves got super droopy. They were droopy before using the humidifier, but I think theyre now oversaturated with moisture and Im not sure how to remedy it. My other surfaces are not exactly mist-friendly (wood/particle board). Ill give it a little more time to observe the longer term effects on my plants.

Ok, so I think I understand the confusion here with all of the conflicting reviews. Looks like they merge all of the reviews and questions for both products on this page, since 2 different sizes are under one listing. The mini diffusers DO have the stick filter. I have not ordered the large, 4L capacity one, but if you watch the product videos of both the mini humidifier and the 4L humidifier, the larger one does not appear to have the filter system that the mini one has. So all the people on here answering the question of whether or not it has a filter, and answering no, likely bought the 4L large capacity humidifier. And all the people who are upset that they asked that question, and received a product that not only has a filter, but cannot be used without the stick filter... likely only purchased the mini humidifier. I purchased the mini humidifier, and I can confirm, it puts out an AWFUL smell due to the stick filter. Really wish it could be used without them, but the humidifier will not do anything if there is no stick filter inserted. Im not sure how anyone else is tolerating the scent coming out of that, when Ive seen them call out that they wish they could order more of those filters. I guess theyre using it for essential oils, but still, this type of diffuser that uses stick filters is so not necessary. There are types of diffusers specifically for use with essential oils, that do not have/need this stick filter. If concerned about hard water build up, just run some vinegar through the machine occasionally to clean that out. Anyways, these were just not for me, Im returning them due to the awful smell. It was like a sort of burning, chemically smell. Seems like that would not be good for my plants, nor for me. I will say, that the mini humidifiers were impressively quiet, however. I couldnt hear anything and my apartment was pretty quiet at the time. If I was in an empty room with zero noise, maybe Id hear a little hum, but I dont think it would be much, honestly. I ended up buying a Honeywell humidifier instead, Ill review that once I use it.

I live in AZ, so in the summer, it gets really dry. I use this nightly to help with moisture so that my nose doesnt get dried out. Also great for the skin. I dont even hear it, and there is a light that you can also turn off, unless you prefer to use it as a soft nightlight. I use filtered water, and this one does NOT leave a white residue behind like most do.

Bought this product in last Sept 2022 and it worked well. Didn’t use it every day but when I did it was nice and quiet and shut off after a while like it was supposed to. But it only lasted maybe 6 months, 7 max. Now it does nothing. It doesn’t turn on at all. Don’t waste your money * UPDATE- they sent me a new one after I posted this review. Haven’t used it often enough but the few times I’ve used it it seems to be working.
