This is better than the original part. It was easy to assemble and works better than the original part.

Like many others, this extension kit is far better than what came with the DeLonghi air conditioner unit. As a determined 65 yo, I was able to install myself. It would be easier with 2 people but doable alone. Instructions could be a lot better, I watched a You Tube video to make sense of it before starting. No tools needed other than scissors to cut sealing material. Plus, plenty of sealing material. It is very sturdy, appears to be durable but this is just my first season. I would highly recommend.

Our portable AC unit came with window connections that are probably great for newer houses, but our >100 year old house has narrow windows. This kit let us adapt the AC to our narrow double hung windows. Isnt a perfect fit, but it is soooo close that well take it! Easy to cut the pieces to fit. And the sealing tape that came with it is perfect to fill the small gaps. We are so pleased. I would definitely recommend for those with narrow windows. Only bad thing is all the extra plastic parts we wont use and will be adding to the plastic waste of the world. Heavy sigh.

Serves its function. But built flimsy. Not enough foam included to seal around the uneven edges of the plate.

I purchased this replacement kit because the unit that came with my LG portable ac was a nightmare to assemble. This replacement unit is a dream in comparison. I have a sliding glass window and it is long enough to fit into the entire window unlike the one that came with my ac unit. I used to tape and insulate around the old kit because it did not fit properly. The replacement kit came with a sealing tape that was easy to install and effective.

The panels were a pain to begin with and did not sit in the frame well. I rigged up some insulation to offset this annoyance only to find out that the hose attachment collides with our windowsill. Avoid this product if you have vertical sliding windows. Hoping I’ll be able to get a refund.
