So pros and cons: This leash is amazing, it’s durable. Easy to hold onto and grip and great for training Cons: I had this leash for 4 months, it was doing amazing however one day. My 7 month old pup while outside. I had turned away to go throw away some garbage and within 30 seconds, the leash was split in two. A few weeks before he had torn up the rubber/squishy part of the handle so it became just a rope handle. BUT keep in mind both incidents were done after being unsupervised for less than 30 seconds. SO this leash is amazing for chewers but only as long as you watch them when the leash is where they can get to it. Now I have a regulary, flat leash witch he can chew in even less time but I watch him at all times and keep it up.

I purchased this leash for my dog for longer walks - this is secondary to an extendable leash. The second handle is nice when i need to hold him closer to me and fix the leash. The color matches his color too. I would highly recommend to anyone - and this is for a large dog as he is about 110 pounds and knows this leash means more than a stroll around the yard!

I have a mastiff puppy about 9 months she loves her walks so much she pulls you like a Iditarod dog sled I went through 4 leashes until this one. It took me 3 walks and now she walks right beside me no pulling. Would highly recommend and purchase if I ever had to again

Going on 8 months and still strong! I have a Staffordshire Terrier that is super Protective. The extra handle helps to pull her close to me and then I can grab her collar handle (I use Kong) if anyone is nearby or I need to restrain her. I like the handle and I wrap around my wrist and grab the leash for most control.

Very satisfied with pioneer pet core dog leash. Comfortable sturdy dog leash, with double handle leash. Handles padded with neoprene, lower handle at 21 inches to grab when need pup closer to you and other handle at 6 ft length. Beautiful bright pink color, & reasonable price.

I have always thought that it would be great to have a leash with a handle closer to the dog, but I didnt realize they actually existed until I started looking for a comfort grip leash. We have an exuberant 45# Goldendoodle puppy that is still learning to walk nicely on a leash. With my other large dogs, we have always trained them with a gentle leader when they are older, but this guy is not ready for that yet. He loves to go on walks but he can be a big puller. This leash is perfect for him. The leash itself is sturdy and strong. The handles are cushioned and much more comfortable to hold than a standard nylon leash. The training handle is a nice distance from the hook. It might be a bit close if you use a standard collar, but we attach to a harness with the connection point on the back. The training handle allows us to keep the pup close when people are near or when there is traffic - or if we simply want to reinforce that he should be walking right beside the handler.

I love the bright pink color of the leash .Making light reflective was an added bonus . It really is very sturdy and easy to hold . I am going to get a lot of use out of the 6 ft. Pioneer Pioneer did leash. I also got the matching dog collar.

I have only had it for a few days, but it is comfortable to hold and seems like it will hold up well. Great leash for the price.

Hand grips are very comfortable.

The leash works well with her harness and I love that the leash has a lower grab handle, for when I need her closer to me in a crowd.
