The extra handle helps to pull her close to me and then I can grab her collar handle (I use Kong) if anyone is nearby or I need to restrain her. I like the handle and I wrap around my wrist and grab the leash for most control.

> 24 hourIve used this leash almost everyday for the last couple of months. It is strong and sturdy enough for my two standard poodles. Washes well. Its a little longer than my other 6 leashes - I dont know if they were short or these are long. My only challenge is that the leash handles are alittle thick with the padding and dont always feel secure in my smallish hands. Having said that, the padding is nice.

> 24 hourI purchased this leash for my dog for longer walks - this is secondary to an extendable leash. The second handle is nice when i need to hold him closer to me and fix the leash. The color matches his color too. I would highly recommend to anyone - and this is for a large dog as he is about 110 pounds and knows this leash means more than a stroll around the yard!

> 24 hourI already had a rope leash, but I wanted one with a traffic handle. I like the comfy foam handle, bright reflective color, and long length. I wish the traffic handle was a bit closer to the dog. I am walking a 1yr old pit bull who still pulls a bit on walks. It is easier to hold the leash close so she doesnt have slack when she tries to dart. I find that I still have to gather slack even with the traffic handle. All in all I recommend, it is just about right.
