I purchased this leash in 2020 and gave it 5 stars. It was very thick and sturdy with strong metal attachment clasps which is what I need for my very strong large dog. The clasp recently broke after 3 years of daily use so I purchased new one and the new leash I received was in no way as thick and sturdy as the first one and the clasps feel cheap and unreliable. I feel like this happens often. One product is offered and once it gets enough 5 star reviews they switch it out for an inferior product. Disappointed I discovered this once it was too late to return.

This leash was exactly what I was looking for. It seems to be extremely durable and able to handle a very strong 25+ pound Beagle with ease. The main handle has a comfy padding, making it easy to hold onto with one hand. The smaller handle that is mid leash, does not come with the padding but so far no rope burn from the random pulls of excitement. The mid leash handle is also super convenient to have that extra control allowing your dog to walk along by your side, but not bulky if you want to give your pup that 6ft freedom to explore. I would definitely highly recommend if you are looking for this style of leash!

This is a very comfortable 2 handled leash.

I love this leash. I have a very strong, excitable 7mo Australian Shepherd/Lab mix. She hasnt learned to walk well on a leash yet and she pulls toward every person/animal we walk by. The padded handles make such a huge difference and I absolutely love the 2nd handle down lower. It is SO convenient when passing people in close quarters. I bought a plastic attachment for the D-ring to hold her waste bag after she goes. This leash is sturdy, attractive, and has all the features I was looking for.

We live in a residential urban neighborhood with lots of parks. I really appreciate being able to let my dog be on a long leash if we walk through a park and to be able to shorten the leash when we’re walking on crowded sidewalks. I often let my dog play with other dogs while he’s still on the leash. So, he pulls (sometimes hard when playing) and this leash has held up pretty well. Plus it’s a great color (I got blue) and it seems to repel dirt as it doesn’t seem to get dirty even though my dog runs and rolls around in the dirt!
