I bought these for the no-kill cat shelter that I am involved with to use when we have baby kittens and no mama.

We use these ALL the time in my office. Not just for patients but for cold receptionists as well. Several of the staff have them at home for orphan kittens and such.Much safer than a hot water bottle. I got one for my mom while she was doing chemo worked great to keep her toasty.

Continued: After overheating, the kitched filled with a gas that irritated my eyes and made breathing almost impossible. The flooring was burnt and ruined. I was concerned about health effects so I called the US office looking for a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). The guy I spoke with was unhelpful and he blew me off to their UK office, also useless-the computers are down.

I gave these a “1” because the covers fell apart at the seams after a couple washings. I have one I bought 5 years ago whose cover is still perfect but these 3 new SnuggleSafe covers are poorly made. Disappointed in the workmanship.

We seem to have the house with a sucker sign when it comes to stray and feral cats. These were originally purchased for one of our feral cats, but the biggest benefactor has been one of our strays. She loves the warmth and although she adores being outside hunting lizards during most of the year, in the winter, she has always enjoyed the basement. This gives her much more warmth and we bought the trio so we could rotate through the Snuggle Safes and keep her relatively warm during this horrible cold snap weve been in. I would give this a 5 star review, however, our cat would give it 6 - if only she could figure out how to work a computer.

I have a colony of about 20 feral cats and it’s hard keeping them warm in the winter and these have done a great job! They’ve held up well to the elements and can still hold their heat for the 10 hours despite continuous use.

Ive tried several other similar heating pads and this is still the best product. The soft gel pads eventually leak and have a funny smell that never seems to go away. The less expensive brands of the hard pads tend to warp quickly and / or dont hold heat as long.

I have had these before....they are safe for my feral cats to keep warm with in the winter....the only thing I can say against them is that they are very hard...but I slip them under the cats blankets and they sleep on them quite happily it seems. They keep warm for at least 7-8 hours.

My kitties love these snuggle stones. I just heat them up in the microwave and put them wrapped in a down in their beds. They just snuggle right down with the stones. The stones stay warm for about 12 hours. I would recommend these snuggle stone for anyone with pets. Your pet will thank you..
