Works amazing I love how easy it is to set up. I do wish the voice recording was a bit louder though.

This feeder is definitely worth the money. It was easy to set up and is easy to clean.

No issues so far - weve had it about a month and have used it a couple times while we were away. Some wrote that it is loud but I dont find that to be the case. Our cat is not skittish around it at all.

The food spills out the front when it comes out of the feeder so you need a mat under it to catch the food.

I love this thing my Alvin don’t wake me up at 6 in the morning anymore I use the batteries because his a big guy and will unplug the outlet. The portions are great I don’t have to worry about him over eating and it’s very easy to set up for whatever times u what to feed your pet. I gave 4 stars because if it’s knocked over some food will come out the bottom and my cat figured that out.

We have a single 10-lb cat that gets 1/2 cup of food a day. This unit comes with 2 different dispenser wheels that control portion size. 3 of the small portion turns per meal (about 2 tbs each) works great for our cat. The programming isnt exactly intuitive, but once you figure it out, its easy to use. The size selection is the number of turns per meal, so if you want 6 tablespoons, you select 3 turns (1 section=2 tbs 3 times = 6 total tbs). I am not sure how much the larger portions are. We tested them out and it was too much to adjust for our cat, but I think would work well for medium or large sized dogs. The lid is difficult to open, but I see this as a bonus, especially for owners of smart pets who would otherwise just pop the lid and eat all their food whenever they wanted. The negatives: The reviews saying this unit comes unplugged easily are spot on. REALLY heavy plug adapter, and its badly designed so it slides out of an outlet at a light tap. Since this is a USB type adapter, though, its easy to replace the plug with a type that wont come unplugged. Would be nice if they would include a better one, though. As I mentioned, the controls arent intuitive, but once you figure them out, the unit works great. Now our kitty only hollers at us when she wants attention or to play. She sits patiently by the dispenser 2-3 minutes before it serves her breakfast or dinner, and eats happily without bothering us. Overall, I would absolutely buy this again. I think it has really good options for adjusting portion size, once you figure out how to use it, and lets us go away overnight or even over a weekend without having to ask a friend to come feed our cat. Its great to know shell be fed on time and will only miss us for our companionship.

It did a pretty good job in what I needed when I worked weird hours and couldnt keep a constant time to feed my cat, this helped a lot. Gave options for portions and the time when I set it for. I loved it. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is because my cat actually figured out a way to get the food out of it manually, that little mix so I had to stop using it. Good product though.

I like the pet feeder. But the portion size levels on the display run from 1-39. The equivalency chart they provide runs from 1-17. When I called, the representative acknowledged that the problem exists. So Im having to experiment to determine what numeric setting corresponds to a given volume of feed. Im prepared to upgrade my review if the seller can provide an accurate chart--I have to know how much Im feeding my cats! Edit: I got a call from Tom, Pawples excellent customer service rep. Tom explained to me that the chart is, in fact (approximately, given the differing behavior of different sized kibble) correct as far as it goes. Values above 17 (ie,18-39) arent listed on the chart because they represent rather massive amounts that no one would likely use. Pawple will be reviewing the instructions to make them clearer. I was impressed with Toms terrific customer service.

Easy to program. Holds about 4-5 days of food with 2 feedings/day for our 70lb pit bull. We were afraid that she would knock it over while we were out and destroy it to get at the “mother load” inside, but that never happened. She knew after the first feeding that this machine was the place to be near right before feeding. The battery backup gives us peace of mind in the unlikely event of a power failure. If you level out the kibbles in the food hopper, you can tell later if the machine actually did dispense a feeding because there will be a little indentation in the top of the food level. Our only gripe is that the recorder does not record our voices very well at all. When it plays back our voices, it sounds very low (with no volume control). We have to literally SCREAM into it to get any kind of decent recording. Even then, our voices come out tinny. They have another model which costs about 20 bucks more that has addressed the sound issue. I’m sorry we didn’t get that one. That said....I have just one word.....FREEDOM! From being locked into feeding times!
