> 3 daygot the phone today in the mail off somehow it was turned on!! I think I got a used one it actually had a case on it so I was happy about that. I transfered my old phone over to it all quick by google!! I wanted a cheap phone because Im going on a trip and maybe leave my way expensive one at home. this one will work in Europe and in Japan as not all gsm phones work there. Im also hopping to let a relative use it on there trip!! I mainly didnt want to worry about my phone being stolen so this way I have a nice one and not worry about that! it was tricky when buying phones. I almost bought a track phone but those are Locked and dont work with a sim card. where Im going I was able to get a sim card with phone min and data so I can make international calls without the 60$ price tag!! its kind of tricky finding the sim card, a phone that is right. etc some phones had bad reviews. so far so good for this!! of course its cheap the main problem is there wasnt a clear way to answer calls like on other phones. also if Hou call an 800 number that has a menu like a bank you cant dial a 1 so getting through to a ticket place or bank can be a challenge

> 3 dayMy previous phone was a Blu Vivo 4XL so I am comparing the C21 to that...... PROS: *storage & RAM...the phone has plenty of storage space & RAM for my current needs. An SD card can also be added for additional storage. *Phone appears to operate very snappily....noticeably quicker than my previous phone. *Good brightness....Not quite as bright as my precious phone but bright enough. *external speaker is loud enough & louder than the 4XL...not hi-fi quality, but gets the job done without a lot of distortion. *comes with a clear TPU case...This is always a plus to me so I dont have to order one to get started using the phone. *battery life is acceptable....Im a moderate user & I usually have at least around 50% battery left at the end of the day. Seems to charge quickly as well. *I like the punch hole front camera design...the 4XL had an iPhone-style notch that took up too much icon real estate unless you didnt use the screen area on either side of the notch. This design doesnt really get in your way. *the cameras are on par with what I had with the 4XL. They seem to take pretty decent pictures....Better than the Moto E7 that I tried before this, in my opinion. I have really no complaints with the cameras. CONS: *fingerprint reader placement....I was used to the fingerprint reader being in the center of the phone & recessed a bit on my last phone. The C21 has it placed right next to the rear camera lenses & really not recessed. This means that you can possibly smear/cloud the lenses with oils from your fingers & the reader is hard to find by feel. The reader does work ok(I think the 4XL reader was a bit better & more accurate) though. *launcher....I really didnt like the included launcher that came with the phone so I downloaded a really cool one called Alpha Hybrid Launcher...I really like it & it seems to work well so far! *Quality....I had to return the 1st unit of this phone that I received due to it spontaneously rebooting itself(its a quiet reboot so you never knew it had happened really). It also got to the point where the phone would constantly kill apps...at the end it was not usable at all really due to multiple google app crashes per minute...Not even a factory reset would correct the problem. With the bad unit I did download all of the available updates to the phone, but with the replacement unit I did not do this...Im not sure if maybe one or more of the updates may have been a culprit in the problems that I experienced?? * wifi....wifi reception & operation is good, although this unit tends to just kick itself off of wifi out of nowhere & without warning about once per day, even when in the house around strong wifi signal. When I notice its done it I have to turn wifi off then on again & that will take care of the problem. It gets annoying, but not enough to send the phone back. *bluetooth....bluetooth works well for the most part, but at times playback of music will start to stutter and that requires me to press pause then play on the streaming source to get things back in sync again. Ive tried multiple bluetooth speakers & the problem persists on all of them & the internet source doesnt matter either. Not sure why this happens. Also, I would like it if the bluetooth volume could be adjusted to be louder....Sometimes theres just not enough volume when in a kind of loud environment & using a BT headset. *no 3.5mm headphone jack....I rarely used the headphone jack on my XL4, but when I needed it, it was there & I was glad it was....Sadly the C21 does not have one :-( . Overall I think the C21 is a good value for the money, especially if you get a good unit. Replacing the bad unit that I initially got was not really a problem when I worked with Amazon to get it done. Right now I dont think you can beat the price for a phone of this size, with this amount of RAM & storage & a decent camera.

Greater than one weekYou all know the great specs. And it definitely beats my Samsung and Motorola phones that cost way more. Didnt find any annoying preinstalled apps on the phone either though I might have deleted a few games, Im not sure. But there are a few issues that really annoy me. EVERY app is on one of the top-level home pages and there is no separate list of installed apps. Also, there is no search box to find specific installed apps! Say, what?? So I am stuck swiping right and left looking for the app I want to open which can be tedious. See my image for what I am talking about. Every phone Ive ever had (including ones running Android 5 through 10) had a complete list of apps installed. You click on the app icon or swipe up to view them. You can then pin any of the apps to one or even several of the top layer windows on your screen. And even the cheapest ones had a search for apps box! Another issue is you cannot close all apps at once (correct me if Im wrong). On previous phones, you can press a close/clear all apps icon or swipe all the way to the left and touch clear all or close all running apps. Not this one. Long Battery Life does not apply in my case. The battery doesnt stay charged for a full 24 hours. I did not make one single call yesterday, just browsed the news, checked webpages, downloaded some images, and shopped a little. I didnt even use any social apps. This morning it was at 14%. I use an app that kills all running processes that I choose (works on system apps, too) and I use it EVERY time Im done using the phone in order to preserve the battery charge. Its my favorite android app purchase of all time. I can guarantee that no unwanted apps were running. This phones battery appears to be an absolute lemon, which is awful since its not removable to be replaced. There are some other small idiosyncrasies I cant remember right now, but the ones I listed are considerable issues for me. And now the phone is $20 cheaper than a few days ago when I bought it. Thats not the phones fault, of course, just feel disappointed in myself for missing the sale by so short a time. I would have gotten the equivalent TLC phone, but it uses an older processor for which Ive seen numerous complaints regarding how slow it is. I may have to return this unless the company finds a way to resolve the above-stated issues. Then Ill be happy to give it 5 stars.
