> 3 dayAlright, so this pack was designed for cycling, but I’ll be honest with you, I don’t cycle much these days. Instead, I take this pack on hikes! I found it to be perfect for 2-6 hour hikes. It carries two water bottles and has plenty of storage space for keys, wallet, phone/camera, and snacks. I prefer this pack for short hikes over traditional backpacks because it allows air to reach my back and makes it that much easier to regulate my body tempearature. Thanks Osprey! I’m sure its great for cycling too.

> 3 dayIve been looking for an everyday waist pack to carry two water bottles (for my kids) and some essentials when packing my cargo shorts just isnt enough. I remember long ago when I had a great Ultimate Direction waist pack that was super functional and comfortable and have been looking a long time for something similar. I almost purchased the Osprey Talon or Tempest as they most resembled my old Ultimate Direction pack. However, Im glad I waited and discovered the Savu. The Savu is sleek and functional for what I want. The water bottle holder areas can flatten down when not in use to make it more sleek and attractive. The main pocket is spacious enough to hold 2 ipad minis and a bit more. I suppose the Talon/Tempest has more padding which may make it better for hiking or trail running, but I love my Savu. It even looks a lot better than other fanny packs when slung diagonally over your torso.

> 3 dayThis is the first and only fanny pack Ill ever own. Storage capacity is fantastic and the price is right for what it is... Dont throw $80 - $100 at your local bike shop or some hot shot brand name for the same product!

Greater than one weekI was a long time backpack wearer for mountain biking, they never really bothered me, but I decided to see what all the hip pack hype was about and try one. This thing is amazing! I was worried about it sliding down or feeling too tight around my waist, but none of that happened. I didnt notice it at all while riding, and I felt so much more free while riding. The lack of straps on your shoulders is well worth it along, not to mention the lower center of gravity. It holds plenty for a few hours of riding. I was able to get bottles in and out easily without stopping, but only on mellow terrain. A bit more organization pockets in the main storage pocket would be nice, but its fine as is. For only $40 this is an absolute steal and by far the best value on the market.

> 3 dayThis fit my needs for a small pack to hold water bottles, cell phone, keys and small first aid items while mountain biking and light hiking. It is a sturdy and well made pack. I especially like the water bottle holders as they are sturdy but also fold down if you are not carrying bottles. This makes the pack smaller overall when not carrying bottles.

> 3 dayI liked the idea of a hip pack but in practice, I find it a little annoying. The construction and quality from Osprey is always top notch. The pack has a ton of pockets and actually holds more than my basic Camelback. The one design issue I found is there is only a single strap to hold the bottles in. I find myself pushing the through and having them fall on the ground when trying to drink while riding. Why not add a X style webbing? Only other food for thought is I find that having a drink tube at the ready is more convenient than reaching behind. I do however appreciate how much cooler my back is with this!

> 3 dayFelt I needed to write a review of this pack to clear up some of the reservations I had before purchasing it. A few one star reviews complain about the support straps that hold the water bottles in place and keep them from slipping out of the bottom. It seems these people are missing the snap buttons that make it accept the water bottles or if you unsnap them it lets the bag flatten out if you arent running any. If these buttons arent snapped the bottles would definitely slip past the strap. Snapped together and it makes a perfectly sized water bottle holder!

> 3 dayI got this bag for my small 3-5 mile hikes and love it. I do wish it was just a little bigger to hold a little more for my hiking kit. Sits well and love the water bottle holders on the side.
