This simple cap was surprisingly effective! The thick gel layer is naturally cool; even without putting it in the fridge, there is a significant cooling effect. I have chronic migraines. This compression helps with the pain in about 20 mins for me. The best thing I have found is an extremely hot shower and then get in bed with this cap on. I never leave on a trip without it!
