The minimum distance between 2 parts is much bigger than MacBook Pro with Retina display or MacBook 12 or Air. It feels absolutely unsafe and looks bad. Dont buy it.

While working from home, I went months with my laptop closed. It gives me valuable desk space back, while still keep the laptop close, in car I need to open it for some reason, or to grab and go. Its just heavy enough to keep things in place. Hightky recommended!

This might be my favorite piece of equipment in my studio. It keeps my MacBook Pro secure and out of the way. If you use your computer in clamshell mode, this is a must. It’s durable, heavy, and well made. Not only does it serve a great purpose, it looks better than others that cost triple the price.

Stand is great. Its very easy to adjust and all sides that touch anything are well padded with a rubbery surface. The surface finish could be better (some of the paint came chipped a little) but at this price its unbeatable. In regard to use this is definitely a 5/5, and at this price id say overall also deserves a 5/5.
