The stand itself is quite excellent in craftsmanship. When the package arrived, before I even opened it the first thing that I noticed was just how heavy it is for such a small stand. That weight meant it wasnt going to easily tip over or slide around on the desk. The black finish is quite nice and matches most matte black items you might have on your desk quite nicely. The fact that you can adjust it to fit nearly any sized laptop is also a nice touch and the padding on the inside also protects the laptop from being scratched. Unfortunately, the one gripe I have is that the inside padding really should have extended up and over the top of the stand. The reason is that since it stops short of the top the hard metal is exposed and youll notice that youll hit your laptop against the metal as you try to place it inside unless youre very careful. Overtime, this will most certainly scratch your laptop. Other than that, though, I have no complaints.

Ive been using this for about 6 months I think, and it works perfectly.

These are a pretty inexpensive way to free up space on your desk if you don’t need to open the lid of your laptop. I have two laptops, a Dell Latitude and MacBook Pro 14”. Both are being snugly kept in place by these stands and out of the way. The stands themselves are sturdy and their weight makes sure that the laptops don’t fall or sway if I bump the desk. They are adjustable if needed. Highly recommend them.

This is a pretty solid little stand. i like that it adjusts. The only problem is they use very cheap screws. The provided Allen wrench does not fit in one of the screws... so you try to adjust it and get nowhere.

The stand has worked well for me over the past year or so, but the bolts that you use to adjust the width are cheap and want to round out.
