We bought this to use to recharge my husbands phone. It works perfect and is a great fit!!!

Do not buy for Raspberry Pi. Bought it specifically as a power supply for a Raspberry Pi and it didnt have enough juice for the Raspberry Pi to boot up Raspbmcs updater. Works great though as a phone charger to replace the one used for the Pi for the power supply.

This received a four because the wire didnt have the official HTC tag. The product does what it states so it is a solid buy. The general rule is to stick with the developers products due to watts and amps that the device takes.

I have a Mytouch 4g and I gave this product 4 stars because unfortunately this charger isnt a good match for my phone. It would fit better with the other HTC phones. Because the Mytouch has a bigger opening where the charger goes, the charger wiggles inside and falls out easily. Also if its not on a flat surface it might not charge continuously because it wiggle around. Im not blaming the company, but HTC should make all their products pretty much compatible to all the phones. It works very well for the Evo 4G though, as my boyfriend has tried it on his phone. One more thing is that it did seem like a used charger, but that doesnt really matter to me, but something shouldnt be advertised as new if it isnt..thats another reason for 4 stars.

I bought this since it was way cheaper than the original product. I should have known better. It didnt work at all. I left my phone charging for almost 8 hours and it charged 15%. I emailed back to the seller and he promptly replied. I didnt want my money back but instead a replacement. the seller sent me a replacement for no additional cost. (That earned them 3 stars instead of 1) The replacement is slow compared to Original HTC charges...but not that bad.... charges 100% in 8 hours.. works for me!

I ordered three of these chargers for my HTC Evo 4G Android phone and none of them charge my phone(or rather they appear to provide enough current so the phone thinks its charging, but it is charged too slowly to make any practical difference. Two of the chargers also put the phone into car mode. Presumably the reason I would buy from an unknown third-party seller via Amazon is that Amazon is in some way verifying the seller. But its apparent that in reality Amazon is doing little or no research and is instead letting its customers figure out which sellers are running scams.

The price is outstanding. It works fine both charging and as a data cable. For some reason, it works as a trickle charger instead of a rapid charger like the one that came with my HTC Inspire. The specs listed on it, at a casual glance, seem to be indentical. It isnt a deal-breaker by any means...it is $5 as opposed to $30 at the AT&T store.

Compact charger, great if you like to keep a charger in your purse or if you travel a lot. After a couple of months the end of the cable that connects to the phone came completely off. The little silver part that goes into the phone completely disconnected from the cable. The wall part still works great.

I had left my HTC charging cord at a hotel and had bought a cheap aftermarket replacement. It was not charging well and then ordered this original HTC cord on Amazon. Wow, what a difference. It charges my HTC phone very quickly and is an exact replica of the original one that came with the phone. The product was as advertised and arrived on time. I would definitely recommend this seller.
