OEM HTC USB Travel Charger Adapter U250 / CNR6300 / 79H00095-14M

Worked great for my Evo 4g for about the first month. Now not so well. It still works. I just have to put some weight on the plug to phone connection to keep it working. I am a pilot and this charger sits in a pocket on the outside of my travel bag so it may have been smashed a time or two. If you need one, get it. You really cant beat the price AND I refuse to pay retail for this thing. I modestly recommend.

I only bought this cord as a backup for when I am out. I did use it at home just to test out the charging time which is pretty much the same as the original one, 4 hours or less. I was not pleased at the look of the charger. Its scratched up (used) and the cord is shorter. I had to wipe it down good before using. Thats the reason for the 2 stars. I do see that some have better experiences as far as in getting the OEM charger. Mine was sold from AAC Stop. I dont want to go through the hassle of returning the charger, so Ill just keep it around and hope that nothing goes wrong with it or my phone (Evo 3D). It only cost me $4.80 with free shipping, so the price isnt bad.

Since this product was coming from Hong Kong I was really worried it was going to take forever and the delivery date was like a month out, however; it came incredibly fast considering where it came from. I think it only took about a week or two. Works perfect so far, but have only had it for a little bit. Looks and charges exact same as the one I got with my phone originally.

I ordered this charger for a friend whose originally charger had broken. She likes the size of the new charger but said that it seems to take a bit longer to charge her phone now. Still, a little more time is nothing compared to the money she saved by buying the charger here instead of in the store. Good deal for the price.

it worked okay, but then after a few twisting it started playing funny on me, - for instance it will charge, but i cannot get the HTC to respond on a touch screen, i have to unplug it in order to get a touch response. that was weird. then it just quit, but it did not happen right away, it took some time tear and wear, so i am not that disappointed it was okay overall!

This is a great usb charging adapter. Not just for the HTC but for any phone that takes a usb adapter for charging. I use it to charge my 2000mah and 8000mah power banks too. Anything that needs a high power, 1 amp charger this is great for. The only thing Ive found that wont accept it for charging purposes is my wifes blackberry. Even using an official blackberry usb charging cord the phone wouldnt recognize it. The usb cord that comes with the adapter is worth twice what the whole package costs. Its substantial and sufficiently long that its pretty useful. Cant beat this combo.

I ordered this after seeing all of the great reviews here. While this works and looks similar to the HTC travel adapter that came with my phone, this one has a different part number written on it (79H00098-14M, my original has part # 79H00095-01M). It also is missing many of the certification markings that are on the one I already have (i.e. NOM, NYCE). Also, this one has nothing written on the back in Mandarin like my first one. Even the printing on the back is blurry and the charger shape is slightly different. Maybe just all caused by a new production run or slight changes, but I am suspicious by all these differences as to whether it is an authentic HTC product. In my searches on the HTC website I could not find anything about their chargers so I cannot tell for sure.

Do not buy for Raspberry Pi. Bought it specifically as a power supply for a Raspberry Pi and it didnt have enough juice for the Raspberry Pi to boot up Raspbmcs updater. Works great though as a phone charger to replace the one used for the Pi for the power supply.

Appear to be OEM as described and work great so far. there were some small scratches on the ac adapter that made me wonder if it was used but either way it works and only costs a few bucks. much better than the 3rd party crap i have been buying.

The cable for my phone charger broke. I tried using other chargers, and my phone would charge very slowly and tell me to use the original charger cable. So I ordered this htc charger for my HTC phone thinking it would work. It did for the first few days, but then suddenly back to the same problem. Even though this charger is identical to my original charger, my phone charges very slowly and tells me to use the original cable. I know this is not due to the charger being poor quality, however it is stressful to think I may need to buy a whole new phone because I dont have the original charger and even and identical one doesnt work.
