NOW L-lysine 500 mg, 250 Capsules

Use this for immune support and boosting for me and my cats. Really helps us all... colds, flu, energy and allergies so duration shorter, recover quicker and can say it saved one of my cats 6 months ago when real sick. She was throwing up, couldnt keep food down and thought I was going to lose her. I increased her dose to three times a day and gave slippery elm 2 times. The combination and a lot of prayers brought her out of whatever was happening and so thankful for this product. A staple in my house and have cats on it from time they are weaned. Helps a lot for me when I am really worn down and helps shorten flu symptoms for me too.

In early 2019, I started getting horrible canker sores CONSISTENTLY in my mouth. I’d have them on the sides of my tongue, inside my cheeks, and behind my lips. Even a tiny accidental bite to my mouth would cause one, and it would be huge and painful and last for weeks. I was struggling to eat and speak and was in constant pain and fear of getting more sores. Near the end of 2019, I finally decided to try Lysine pills, which were known for improving canker sores, although there was no known reason why they helped. Within my first month of taking these, I stopped getting canker sores entirely. Keep in mind, I hadn’t gone a week without a canker sore in almost a year! Within the last 5 months, I’ve only gotten one canker sore, and that was the week school started again for me, so I believe it was brought on by stress. Otherwise, they are completely gone now, and I am pain-free! I take two in the morning and have been able to keep away the sicknesses that everyone else seems to be getting.

This has done WONDERS for clearing up my skin! Im a 30 y/o female and have been dealing with some very persistent hormonal acne, particularly tiny white bumps/inflamed pores all over my face. I have taken 1000 mg of NOW L-Lysine capsules ever since my accident on Sept. 2012. I am a left handed person and was hit from behind by a kid who was not paying attention to my car stopped at the intersection. The tendon in my back was so badly damaged that I was forced to use my right hand for 7 months (that was no easy feat)! I was going to my chiropractor every day and also working with obvious limitations. I like to heal naturally, if possible, so I did some research online and was encouraged to try taking L-Lysine to help me. I like the NOW brand of supplements and take several of them daily, so I ordered them from Amazon (just ordered more because my dbf is now taking them). I credit these capsules (along with the hard work of my chiropractor) with my speedy recovery. My tendon has healed back up and my left hand is back in charge! I still take it every day and will continue to take it. I did not suffer any side effects from it whatsoever - it just helped my body to heal at a faster rate.

This maybe a miracle! Ive had cold sores for years and I hate them. I tried otc and prescribed ointments, but they still last for a week and look gross. Im totally sel-conscious. Now that I have kids, Ive become overwhelmed trying to make sure I dont infect them. This led me to explore any alternative I could find on the internet. I tried many things, but L-lysine is the first product that should immediate and remarkable improvements. Now as soon as I feel the tingle, I double the dose. Sores barely become noticeable and last for a day it two!!! Its amazing. I cannot recommend this product enough!

use this for my cats eyes, relieves any symptoms of dry irritated red eyes. If she does not have this she squints, eyes draining. worked also for my white cats eyes which are goopy with crusty eyes. her eyes are beautiful and clean with this. I open one capsule/day between the morning and evening, sprinkling the contents of this one capsule and mix into moist food. averaging 250 per cat per day per cat internist. a must for their eye health. recently I have started taking again for myself daily cant hurt

In the late 1970s, I worked in a hospital laboratory. My job was computers in a white room, particulate matter, temperature and humidity controlled. After one year of eating my hospital lunch and dinner on, what I didnt know at the time, the 6AM specimen cart for a 550 bed hospital; I got a recurring cyst between my eye brows. The Pathologist directed me to the best of the best dermatologist and he shoot it every month with some liquid. It worked for about 3 weeks, and again it would appear. I researched the issue (in the medical library), and found Lysine was the answer. Months later, I told the dermatologist of how it healed it within a day or so (500 mg caps). Saw my co-worker that used the same table 20 years later, he had the exact same cyst; what I call the Lysine Flush worked within 24 hours. After 20 years, it went away. The dermatologist stated (early 1980s), nothing in the medical journals indicated that herbies viruses were detectable in either of two areas, one of which being lips. To make the long story short, the one day Lysine Flush works better than prescribed medicines, it works like a charm. When I start to feel a tingle on my lip, I know I’m about to get a fever blister. I hate those things! I take one of these as soon as I can and it won’t form a blister. I don’t take one every day, just when I feel one coming on. Depending on when I take it, it may have to be more than one day in a row that I take it. It totally works.

Even though theyre not small (they are 1 inch by 5/16ths) these capsules wash down very easily with a swallow of water. I dont have dysphagia, but I do get freaked out when I have to swallow large tablets. Another advantage, Im guessing, is these capsules can be assimilated faster than the tablets, which have the potential for just passing through the GI tract, unabsorbed. Taking six daily, Ive already staved off a herpes simplex outbreak on my lip since receiving these just a week ago.
