Great bargain, four seals total, wonder why the other guys dont thinking about possibly needing one for an exit wound? Guess they figure they will sell twice as many single packs. Go figure..

outstanding, a great concept (front and back in a SET). Latest design. Everyone - everyone - at the range or at home should have a set. Maybe in your car as well - gunshots arent the only thing that can cause damage to your lung cavity!!!!

The advertisement called for North American Rescue Hyfin Vent Chest Seal, 2 Count That was 2 count like the picture shows 2 packages, unless the picture is wrong and each pack has 2 but, if thats not the case where is the second pack because I received it today Nov 2nd and only one pack. What gives?

I carry one on the off chance someone will need it; I think everyone should.

Package arrived in an undamaged, untampered condition. Cant say if the chest seal works, havent run across any sucking chest wounds lately, and frankly, trying to avoid that situation. But all appears to be as specified.

Please keep a few things in mind when wondering if you want to buy this. First this product is not made for any type of wound other than a sucking chest ( a sucking chest wound is any would that creates a hole into the lungs) and in order to identify that can be difficult so any wound in the chest or back that you can hear air and/or see bubbles of blood coming out of is 98% of the time going to be one. If you dont have a product like this and you find yourself needing to give first aid then you can do so by using any piece of plastic ( preferably something sterile but I know thats not always something you can find in a emergency) and some tape. Put the piece of plastic over the wound and tape three sides leaving one open in order to let air escape but not allow the air to flow back inside. After using this product or the method I just mentioned you still need to make sure the person your treating doesnt get to much build up of air between the skin and lung itself, signs of this are lips and fingers turning blue, one side of the chest looking larger than the other , veins starting to bulge and extreme shortness or breath. If this happens remove the plastic or product to allow the air to escape then recover the wound. Now with all that out of the way one of the dangers you need to be aware of when using something like this product is making sure the three vents are allowing air to escape so keep that in mind when using something like this. Anyway I do recommend buying things like this but knowing the dangers that come with preforming first aid. Well I pray none of you ever need to use it.

I hope I never have to use this but better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
