These chest seals are a perfect addon to my medical kit.

Great quality product. Much easier to apply in a high stress environment. I carry plenty of tape and plastic but this is quicker.

A item I hope I never need to use. I had to use a combat field dressing plastic outer package in the past. This is far better and faster.

Not much to say about this product other than that it is the best in the industry. no other product is nearly as effective at temporarily closing a sucking chest wound. Definitely a must-have for every first aid kit!

I have not had the misfortune to need to use this product yet, but should the time come Im highly confident it would work as described. I opened one of the packets to check on the seal, and in doing so will not put that one back into my kit, although you could if you were careful and resealed the seal to the plastic lining. There are so many reasons (other than the obviously gunshot) to keep this in your kit. Any penetrating chest wound would likely require a chest seal. Also, they have a great youtube video taking you through the procedure for applying. I highly recommend this product.
