Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)

Easy to install, quiet, and keeps my i9-9900k around 28*C idle, and no more than 52* at load/48* average. Only downside is its huge, but thats to be expected.

On start up idle, I went from a 46 with the stock (stock cooler form the 3700X) to a 23-25 Celsius (Ryzen 5800X). Fair warning, this thing is a beast. I had to move my video card to the bottom PCI slot! Playing call of duty, temps stayed below 38 at 99% utilization. Plus, I noticed my GPU temps started to drop with it. Also, if you want your ram to fit, you can’t have both fans have a massive case! I just used one of the noctua fans as an exhaust as to not to miss out on that added value!

This air cooler has been The King of The Hill for the last 5 years and certainly lives up to that reputation! Noctuas web site has extensive lists of the motherboards, CPUs, and computer cases this cooler will fit in, so there should be no guessing to determine how it will work in a particular situation. When I recently used the NH-D15 to replace my aging liquid cooler I expected some performance drop but was pleasantly astounded to discover that there was no performance drop at all - and it beat my old liquid cooler by up to 15C for 100% CPU workloads! This product is highly recommended when you want and need the best!

Put on my I9 12000K. Overclocked it. This thing is better than a water cooler! I am amazed! I can run it at 100% load on all 16 cores at 5300ghz and it will keep it from thermal throttling.

Are you aiming for a HAF (High Airflow) PC build? Maybe you arent comfortable with the idea of liquid cooling yet? Or perhaps you just really like the colours beige and brown? Regardless, this fan is a must-have if you are going for a beefy air-cooled gaming rig. Noctua is top of the line and their build quality is exceptional, and it shows here especially. The quality of the material will ensure that it wont break down any time soon, and certainly not on the first boot up. As for installation, thats easy too, despite its absolutely massive size. So long as you follow the instructions (and in my case have the proper mounting kit), this cooler will pop on insanely easily.

This is an expensive aircooler, but theres a reason for it. Noctua makes the top-of-the-line coolers and fans, and you will get every dollars worth out of this cooler, especially if you plan to overclock without a AIO watercooler or custom water loop.
