01-11-2024Ich habe mein 7 Jahre altes System aufgerüstet. Es kam ein Intel i7-7700K auf ein Gigabyte Z270-HD3P Mainboard in mein Coolermaster HAF 922 Gehäuse. Bislang hatte ich zur Kühlung meines alten AMD Phenom II X4 965 eine Corsair H60 Wasserkühlung eingesetzt. Die war jedoch mit dem neuen Prozessor hoffnungslos überfordert. Einen Test unter Vollast habe ich beim Erreichen von 94° CPU-Temperatur sicherheitshalber abgebrochen. Abgesehen davon hat der Radiatorlüfter einen unerträglichen Lärm produziert. Der Noctua ist nach wie vor der beste Luftkühler am Markt.

Buy some Noctua Chromax plates for a pleasing aesthetic and youre getting all the performance of watercooling for a fraction of the price.

> 3 dayWorks great, very quiet and reduced temp on my i7-8700k by 10F compared to an Thrustmaster Water 2.0 AIO. Just beware of its size - its humongous so look on Noctuas site for dimensions for RAM clearance and overall case fit.

> 3 dayFan works great, CPU never goes over 50c. Only drawback is that I cant fit my gfx card in the top pci slot due to the fan being so big. As far as keeping temps down its great though.

Greater than one weekNormalerweise ist mir Verpackung nicht wichtig, aber es ist erwähnenswert, dass dieser Lüfter die beste Verpackung hat, die ich je gesehn habe bei einem Produkt. Das Ding selbst ist riesig und benötigt einen sehr großen Tower, die Montage war bis auf das Anbringen des Kühlkörpers auf die CPU völlig problemlos. Durch die gefederten Schrauben war dieser Part etwas knaupig, insbesondere da ich als Neuling nichts falsch machen wollte und schnell panisch wurde, als der Kühlkörper auf meiner CPU rumgerutscht ist beim Versuch beide Schrauben festzudrehen, ohne dass sie wieder hochfedern in ihre Ausgangsposition. Qualität des Kühlers ist sehr gut, mein PC ist nun max. 60° heiß im Sommer unter Last im Schnitt, von vorher bis zu 90° mit einem deutlich kleineren Lüfter. Geräuschpegel ist gering und nicht nervig, selbst unter Volllast. Look des Kühlers ist mir egal, da mein PC für mich ein Gebrausgegenstand ist und kein Kunstobjekt. Bin sehr zufrieden.

> 3 dayBought this Noctua air cooler due to my aio cooler having some issue. The performance for the air cooler is wonderful, get a steady temperature for my Ryzen 5900x. Noise level is unnoticeable, one of of extra point for Noctua. Regards to the installation, please take notes that the second fan is not usable if your build is with high profile ram (but performance is not affected by using only one fan). Secondly it best for you to hook the fan with GPU taken off, or else you will have hard time by correctly hooking the fan between the heatsink.
