> 3 dayThis thing is a fantastic beast of heat dissipation with the single fan it comes with. Add another on top and I dunno you must be overclocking at the limits, ut Im sure it will handle it. Also very quiet in operation even under stress testing. My only caution is in my title. It comes with Id say the perfect install phillips tool but its hard to see , and unless you do say 4 or 5 of these you wont have the feel for it. Usually one of the two screws is in a hard to observe area so do that one first the second one is easy. Also seeing between the fan blades and getting a good side shot, well an endoscope would have come in handy there. Also with all the attempts I did lose some skin to the cooling vanes. The manufacture warns that once installed dont travel with the computer without first uninstalling the cooler, its heavy enough and in such a small area attachment point I believe it may break off the motherboard in transit or if the desktop falls a few feet. In the end Noctua, you have done it , and delivered

> 3 dayHave it In a corsair crystal 460x case cooling a 3820 I7. Temps are 50c on load, they occasionally. go up to 52-53. Also have it on a i7 7700k in a Corsair 750d plenty of room. Keeps temps around 71 on max load. I dont have any other coolers to compare to as this is the only one I ever buy.

Greater than one weekWanted a quiet but substantial cooler for an i9 cpu. One of the problems is a number of air coolers are a tight squeeze in most computer cases. This cooler will likely fit most cases.

> 3 dayThis cooler is very big. Can take over ITX boards. Works great keeps 3900xt under 75c at full load.

> 3 dayMounting issue. When I lay the case flat down horizontally like a HTPC or rack server, the performance is almost as good as my Noctua D15s. Once I shift the case into normal vertical orientation, temperatures went from 63 to 72 degree Celsius real fast (Ive remounted and tested this multiple times). Ive also tested this with the heat pipes facing in every possible direction except for top-to-bottom, as instructed by Noctua. I guess this cooler is more suited towards HTPC chassis such as Fractal Node 304, because performance takes a hit if you use it in a tower case. My theory is that either the concave base loses optimal contact with the processor when positioned in a vertical orientation, or the bent heat pipes have trouble in that configuration, which might also explains the varying results from many different professional reviews on the Internet.

> 3 dayi Love the innovation of the mount style,. I mounted the noctua fan underneath and a 14 inch rgb fan on top , no problems dissapating the 125w tdp of the overclocked i9 with the bonus of dragging fresh air over the VRMs and ram

> 3 dayWell made. Cools so much better then the stock RGB 4 heatpipe cooler. Extremely quiet! 14cm included fan makes zero noise even at 1500 rpm on an open Lian li test bench. Amazing !!
