I have internet everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. I set up one unit upstairs, two downstairs (this includes the router) and one in the garage. I never lose connectivity. From the street to the alley, I have no issues connecting to the web with this mesh node. They are a bit bulky, but I am sure as technology advances they will get smaller. Still not too bulky at all.

I bought this Orbi to increase my reception in my home because the signal strength from Direct TV was inferior. The Orbi has been a problem since Day 1, but I blamed the problem on Direct TV. My TV would intermittently stop receiving the WiFi signal. Over the last 3 months I had a Direct TV technician out to my home twice. Each time they wanted to charge me $99.95 for the visit. Each time the man was in my home for nearly 2 hours. The first guy was to no avail. Previously I had problems with my service so they sent a tech to my home. He recommended I buy a Netgear Orbi system. On his advice I bought this system. I got it and I installed it and it worked fine for a few weeks or a month. Then I started losing my Netflix signal. This happened 3 times and caused me to miss days of service each time, but a service supervisor was able to finally reset from Direct TV HQ. Finally it died again and they sent a tech. He fixed it but a few weeks later it stopped. i have afriend who is a computer tech by trade. He came to my home and re-installed everything and spent 2 hours to finally get it going again. this lasted a couple weeks and then same problem. Direct TV sent another guy here and he couldnt get it to work. He ended up separating my Wired computer with the Orbi and my other Wireless devices Without the Orbi. it just went out again and we determined it is the Netgear ORBI causing the problem. Now I just found out that there was only a 60 day period of time to return it. I am just going to trash it. Dont Buy this piece of junk if you use Direct TV. Its not compatible and the warranty is worthless. Maybe it works with another service, but dont gamble your money. Im calling Amazon in the morning to see what they can do for me. Grade of F+.

pros - does boost signal throughout house well. cons - does not work with amazon prime video, hbo now, ring doorbell, arlo cameras, disney+ and more due to buggy firmware and known issues (just google it if you dont believe me). Swapped it for another leading brand and zero issues. figure it out netgear.

I bought an earlier version of a orbi router and satellite. Due to my fault, I did not connect and config the satellite fro some time, only to learn known issue with satellite. Fine, my problem. Then I buy this. Total an epic junk. 2 of the 3 satellites. No good. two hours troubleshooting. Blinking Red Light - Corrupted Firmware. Really? Twice now Ive been burned by the orbi product line. Never again. Junk.

I purchased this Netgear Orbi whole house mesh Wifi system in June of 2020. I didnt realize that it was not auto updating the firmware, but noticed it on my own after several firmware updates had passed. After hours of work trying to update the firmware for both the router and the satellites, I noticed that I could not update the components through a wireless connection, it had to be done using an ethernet cable attached to the router. How do you do this on a totally wireless household? The only potential wired device I could use would be a desktop on the 2nd floor of my condo. I would have to completely tear the desktop down and move it to the basement to do this using an ethernet cable! I also did not realize how obsolete the product I purchased was until I installed it in my condo. Not very much fun for me. I suppose Ill have to trash this system and start over. Make sure when you purchase your whole house wireless system that you can update the firmware wirelessly!!!

This system replaced my older wifi that wasnt capable of reaching the further corners of my house. That was a problem that only became apparent when I switched cell phone service to one that was more dependent on wifi. With the Orbi I have full bars everywhere.

Used different wifi routers this one has been the best so far... I have signal everywhere in my house and outside in my yard... tech support was quick and supportive... great product

Easy to set up and use. Strong signal throughout entire house.

This product was extremely easy to install and worked beyond my wildest expectations. I would suggest it for everyone, and will purchase one for my other home location. Did not even need to contact tech support.
