> 3 dayThis is the second system I purchased, One is in our home, and the other in our vacation home. Both had lots of wifi problems until we put this system in, and now everything works, including streaming video. Super easy to set up.

> 3 daypros - does boost signal throughout house well. cons - does not work with amazon prime video, hbo now, ring doorbell, arlo cameras, disney+ and more due to buggy firmware and known issues (just google it if you dont believe me). Swapped it for another leading brand and zero issues. figure it out netgear.

> 3 dayDo not under any circumstances buy this. Mine worked for 5 months, then crashed every 15 minutes. I finally got a hold of support and they told me Id have to pay ANOTHER $150 to have technician call me and diagnose my problems. So even though I followed everything explained in their user community, could define each step it failed in, Netgear will not give me new hardware (under warranty) unless I pay their ransom. Dont buy. Netgear is awful.

> 3 dayThis product was extremely easy to install and worked beyond my wildest expectations. I would suggest it for everyone, and will purchase one for my other home location. Did not even need to contact tech support.

> 3 dayWe bought this product for a three level, 2500 hundred square feet house with an attached garage with an office over the garage. We were hoping to have a good Internet signal throughout our home... To our surprise, we not only have great Internet throughout our house...we also have great Internet reception on most of our one acre lot. I highly recommend this product. We did have a slight problem a couple days after first hooking this up and we were having a hard time signing into the Internet. We went to their troubleshooting page which told us how to reset the system which took a few seconds and we have had great service ever since. We have been using this system with a Netgear Nighthawk and an antenna. We live in a rural area about two and a half miles from an AT&T tower and our experience has been great.

> 3 dayIve been using Netgear equipment for nearly 20 years now. The tech support has always been excellent and set up nearly stupid proof. This system is as easy to set up as anything I have ever used and the app is very intuitive. Nor can you beat signal strength and speed.

Greater than one weekThis is listed on Amazon as a mesh system, but it is not. In a mesh system, all of the units communicate with each other. This system consists of a router and three satellites. The satellites don’t communicate with each other. Each must connect independently to the router. I suppose if your modem is in the center of your house, it could work; but if you’re like me and have a modem at one end of the house and you’re trying to spread signal to the rest of the house, they’re useless. You’re instructed to place and plug up all four units before programming the system. I put the router in the upstairs bedroom where the modem is, the first satellite in the other upstairs bedroom (across the hall), the second satellite in the living room downstairs, and the third in the master bedroom downstairs. I programmed the system then went to do speed checks. In the second bedroom upstairs, I had about a ten percent drop in speed; in the living room, a fifty percent drop; and in the master bedroom, the satellite couldn’t stay connected to the router for more than a few seconds. I am returning these and purchasing a real mesh system. In fairness to Netgear, the word “mesh” does not appear anywhere on the box. It’s just the Amazon listing that claims it’s a mesh system.
