> 3 dayMoen branded part (etched on part itself) - oddly the original part removed had no branding or marking at all... a plastic part in the original had broken rendering the water stream rather chaotic - this part/assembly contains a surprising number of pieces and screens! So while I was initially dismayed that I had to buy the entire assembly, the way it is made it is probably necessary to sell it this way - and the price is reasonable anyway. The faucets aeration worked perfectly again after installing this part. Install is nothing more than unscrewing the old one (it had provisions for an open wrench) and screwing in the new one (which again oddly, had no provisions to use a wrench - probably for good reason, it can only be hand tightened).

> 3 dayThe other 5-star reviews say it all - Outstanding Performance. Two Suggestions: When installing, dont use pliers, hand-tight is all that is necessary. The aerator will last longer if you pat the underside with the towel that you dry your hands with. This will wick it dry, reducing sediment build-up.

> 3 dayI thought our bathroom sink’s current arreator was externally threaded, so I got this. Unfortunately it was actually internal. I just took the filter out of this and replaced the one that was in the faucet. Works like a charm. Water feels crisp and well balanced.

> 3 dayI had an Aerator that kept popping out of the sink. I tried putting Teflon tape and tightening the Aerator as much as possible, but to no avail. So I purchased this Moen to replace that craptastic old one. What a difference! It does not pop out and actually has a much nicer flow. I have two sinks in my bathroom and the other sink still uses the old Aerator. The flow is not as nice.

> 3 dayWas unhappy at the minuscule stream of water in my guest bathroom. Took old aerator out to clean and noticed it was 1.5 gpm. I ordered this Moen 2.2 gpm aerator and once installed the faucet has sufficient water flow to properly wash my hands. What a difference.

> 3 dayI dont know if this is a good or bad review, but I just had to return to this product page 2 yrs. after we had purchased it looking to replace it again. The first time was 2 years after installing the original Moen faucet. So if 2 years is good for the life of an aerator, its fine. I may try to find the original paperwork and contact Moen this time, as a previous poster suggested.

> 3 dayWent to local hardware stores looking for a replacement Faucet Aerator for my Moen faucet,. Purchased several Universal aerators & had to return all of them because they did not work properly. So happy to have found this genuine Moen replacement. Although the price is a bit higher than the substitutes, this product is well worth the cost as it works exactly as it should. If you have a Moen faucet , I highly recommend this aerator!

Greater than one weekMy bathroom faucet had been reduced to producing barely a trickle. Not being a plumber, I certainly didnt know what was wrong with it. A friend of mine told me to check the aerator. I did, and sure enough it was all clogged up with crud. I was able to get the water running again by cleaning the existing aerator, but I wanted more from my faucet. I looked on Amazon and saw this baby for a mere eight bucks and figured I couldnt go wrong. Now my water flows strong and is beautifully aerated! Feels like a new faucet! Best eight bucks I have ever spent ;)
