Easy to install and works very smooth.

Made of brass and comes with stem puller. If you have not replaced moen faucet stem before go to youtube and watch vieeo on how to do it.

Installed and leak is gone! The older ones have more plastic parts and this onr more metal. Should last longer and was easyto install

Lets face it,this is what it is. When you need it you need it. There is no agonizing selection to ponder. The criteria is cheap and fast (like me) and I was not disappointed with this purchase. In fact there was some bogus recall on this product due to bogus environmental concerns that were in fact not applicable, that made it impossible to obtain this item locally. So I was doubly pleased with this purchase.

Not compatible with Moentrol tub/shower valve.

Corrected leaky faucet. Fits older faucets. Mine are 48 years old. 1200 is the perfect fit for older faucets.

This is a perfect fit. I was afraid I was going to have to do some major plumbing being that the original was fairly old. This part fit exact, and the brass and stainless steel work far better than the old one. Very happy customer.

If you are the original owner and can show receipts, Moen will send one free of charge. Otherwise, this is a good deal on an original Moen part. These brass cartridges work much better for me than the plastic ones commonly found in the big box stores.
