> 3 dayMy wife was in the market for a new laptop for school. This seemed like the best option and indeed it has been amazing. It is super fast to boot, the windows face recognition works great and it is not filled with bloatware. It is not built for games, but it is an amazing laptop for productivity and the specs with an i7, 16gb of memory and the option to change the NvMe storage it will last us for years to come!

> 3 dayBe aware that the battery needs to be worked in, it may take up to 2-3 weeks for the battery to reach peak performance and usage ability! I recommend Pure Battery on the Microsoft store to monitor this! The only reason i bring this up is I have seen other buyers post that they have returned the product after a short time of having less than optimal battery performance. This products battery must be worked in. Otherwise, this product is absolutely amazing and amazes me every time I pick it up!

> 3 dayThe Surface Laptop packs a lot of power into a small package. Its light and easy to carry around or slip into a backpack or briefcase. Battery life is decent. Its run everything Ive thrown at it so far without breaathing hard. It isnt quite up to major games that need a lot of graphics power, but its fine for casual games.

02-11-2024I have had 4 of these. 3 have developed cracked screens and Microsoft could care less. Micro soft cusrtomer service is the worst I have ever experienced. First, it takes 10-14 days to get a repair/replacement, so unless you have a bunch of extra devices laying around with all of your stuff loaded, you will be SOL. 2nd, they will replace a defective device with a defective device, and once ytour warranty runs out, you are again SOL, since the warranty only goes back to the original purchase date. Stay away from any hardware put out by this once great company. As a former fanboy, this pains me to say.

> 3 dayIm a big fan of this laptop. I used to use a macbook air but it died with battery issues so I had been looking for a comparably sized upgrade but to a windows machine. This laptop is sleek it works great and the touch screen features really open up some possibilities with the laptop and my use that didnt exist prior. In reality though the touch screen is mostly used by my daughter to close video calls by hitting the big red button. Aside from that the keyboard somewhat is in the way of me using it too often.

> 3 dayWorks good no problems. Matte black will show fingerprints easily but I dont care if you do get a different color. People complaining about the laptop being laggy need to change the power saver mode to performance the laptop auto sets it to save battery life which will make the computer slower. (This is on all Microsoft laptops now and has been for awhile) I would not recommend this for gaming thats not what its intended for its a work laptop. If you want to play games get a desktop.

> 3 dayNicely powered and sleek laptop, with a good keyboard. Unfortunately, I just cant love this machine because of the non-stop fan noise.
