> 3 dayI loved this book series growing up. Got it as a baby shower gift for a baby girl. I love that it’s a board book.

27-10-2024The book is abridged. About 8 pages of pictures and text were completely removed. As a result, the story takes abrupt jumps that require you to stop and get back on track. Also, the rhythm of the poem is interrupted. I had this book as a child and feel the abridge version spoils the story. However, it is a board book that can put up with rough use from my grandchildren. I decided to keep it and buy the unabridged version when they get older. I decided that an introduction to the story is better than not having heard it at all.

> 3 dayAh, a timeless favorite. Playful but with some tongue-in-cheek values for reflections.

Greater than one weekThis is a great replica of the illustrated Madeline featured in the books. Her yellow hat and blue coat are darling and her red hair completes the picture. A great find for any child who adores the Madeline series like I did as a child.

> 3 dayMadeline has always been a childrens favorite that appears to resonate with children across the globe. The classic french style piques ones interest as we read about the unique character that is little miss Madeline.
