I got this through a local big box on NO TAX weekend. Have to say I almost took it back because out of the box it was so bright I didnt think I could make it work. Here is what I found in the end: Firstly dont install any drivers. Secondly, use your video card setting to lower the brightness way down. Then use the little joystick under the LG logo to fine tune. That joystick is BRILLIANT once you get the hang of using it. It took me a while but in the end I got 75FPS - an improvement from 60FPS for gaming on a 27 panel for cheap. My card can easily keep up with 75FPS without sounding like a tornado. Also it is 144FPS ready (for AMD) should you choose - though my card is Nvidia so I did not confirm. Careful with the modes and super resolution settings. They make huge differences. Start with default and vary one thing at a time else you will wind up totally lost...

Thanks to Amazon for understanding that I didnt like the quality, so I returned it. I spent more money and Im getting a better one. I just turned for few minutes and compared to another LG LED Ive had for 5 years and that one 27EA63 looks much better and sharper.

I really like the size.I have vison problems.This is easy to see.

Easy self installation was critical for me being a senior citizen.....so pleased with quality and picture.

After using for the past 4 months the screen now goes black every few seconds. It is sporadic and may not happen at all on one day and 50 times the next. Customer call center is overseas and you are only getting someone reading off a script. They have no ability to transfer you to an actual tech. They just proclaim it fixed. If I had it to do again Id look for a different monitor. This just isnt worth the trouble.
