Love this drive for the size and price! I have to admit though, when I first opened it, I thought I was scammed because it was so light I thought it was an empty shell. Thankfully not! It worked great to migrate my MacBook Pro from traditional drive to this SSD. I would definitely recommend!

Cloned old desktop HDD and this works great.

I used to be one of those plebians that had to use a mechanical harddrive. Anytime I needed to load something larger than my moms 2010 grocery list word document, my mechanical drive would whirl up like a Kansas tornado and my lights would flicker as that sucker needed all the wattage in my cottage. Now with this new solid state, Ive given the ol past decade rig a new life. The most noise this computer makes is a pur from my cat curled up behind the power source while he waits until I leave to continue chewing all the wires because why not, chaos reigns and hes still mad that I got a dog I guess.

Great upgrade from a conventional hdd. It loads very fast. Recommended

The SSD appears ok. The acronis cloning software furnished, copied files from the HD to the SSD ok but could not write the necessary files to make it a bootable SSD. The software customer service deferred me to PNY. They gave me the standard fix which I had already tried and deferred me to the computer mtg. All they said was how I had voided any warranty by opening up the computer.

Solid performance in a 2011 13” MacBook Pro. No issues with comparability thus far. Not sure how long the drive will last, but for the price I’m very satisfied.

Works exactly as I had hoped, cheaper than Samsung.
